LE values WZE's defensive characteristics more than Lee's attacking characteristics in the midfield position. I agree that Lee's defensive stats is actually BETTER than WZE's like duel won, but I guess LE is seeing something else. Lee should start in that Right midfield position over WZE for sure to be successful.

Lee Kang-in's passing ability is awesome. However, if he plays as a winger, his passing angles are limited and his creative passing and ball-keeping skills cannot be fully utilized. He should be used as a midfielder, and the winger should be filled by Dembele and Kvara who will join later.
He’s best game at psg is last year trophée des champions against Toulouse too, as a midfielder. Even when it comes to building from the back. I feel a lot more safe when it’s Lee dropping to ask the ball. Seems obvious to me idk maybe it’s lack of a right winger replacement. Let’s hope he plays more in midfield with the addition of Kvara as a winger
Honestly, WZE seems to be the preferred choice by the folks that have the final say despite everyone asking for Lee over Ruiz/WZE. If they don't really want to utilize Lee, they should serious consider trading him with the amount of interest he's getting from other clubs atm and grab a solid 9 and bolster LW with Khvicha would make them far more dynamic.
Also the ratio of key passes to assist is insane and large number of them should have been scored
Lee is not a wide player. He can play out wide but much more effective centrally
With Vitinha and Neves being untouchable, it would be a tough choice for Lee to be a starter as it will leave the defense vulnerable

Kang-in is 3rd best out of active Korean footballers. Kim Min Jae ranked 22nd on ballon d'or in 2022 and is currently the best defender in germany and in the world probably. Son is obviously 1st.

I think if PSG had a solid striker, RW/LW would be best for Lee. He did very well providing decent chances to Muriqi at Mallorca. Currently, Muani isn't good. So Lee could play as a midfielder providing chances to Dembele instead.
Lee resembles D. Silva, Modric who happen to be midfielders. He has amazing vision and passing. However, he also has great crossing and dribbling. Unfortunately, he is not very fast or a direct scorer. That's why he needs good partners. I'm not sure if Dembele is as good a partner as players like Mbappe or Neymar, but still he is one of better ones in the team now. So playing them together would be the wise choice.
