Benjamin Keith Davis (born 11 August 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a center-back or left-back for championship club Preston North End. He had loans in York City, Tranmere Rovers, Southport, Newport County and Fleetwood Town.

Born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, Davis signed with the youth system at Preston North End after being spotted playing for Furness Rovers at the age of 11. He made his first team debut in a 2-2 home draw against Coventry City on 26 January 2013 at the age of 17, playing 83 minutes before being replaced by David Buchanan. During the match, he made an assist in the 60th minute of Nicky Rowe and received a yellow card for a foul on Cyrus Christie. He received praise from Preston manager Graham Westley, who likened Davis’ move to the first team to George Boyd’s move to Stevenage. Davis retained his spot for his next home match against Shresubury Town. His second match did not go as well as his debut: he missed a penalty in the 90th minute (for which he received a warning) and a foul with Marvin Morgan in the box. He was replaced shortly thereafter by Paul Huntington and Preston ultimately lost the match. He signed a one-year professional contract at Preston with a second year renewal in May 2013 after being named Club Scientist of the Year for the 2012/13 season.

Davis joined the Second League club York City on July 19, 2013 on a one-month loan. He made his debut in a 1-0 home win over Northampton Town on 3 August 2013 in the first leg of the 2013-14 season. On August 15, 2013, his loan was extended until January 2014 as York took part in the first two matches.

Davis joined Tranmere Rovers from the Second League on September 19, 2014 on a one-month loan and made his debut a day later in a 2-1 home defeat to Exeter City. He played in four games for Tranmere, returning to Preston after his loan expired. October 22, 2014. He joined the National League Southport on September 11, 2015 on a one-month loan and made his debut the next day, 2-1 away from Forest Green Rovers. Preston recalled Davis on October 20, 2015 to cover injured defenders, playing nine matches for Southport.

On January 7, 2016, Davis joined the Second League of Newport County in a one-month youth loan, subsequently extended through the end of 2015-2016. On January 2, 2017, Davis joined Ligue 1 Club Fleetwood Town on loan for the remainder of 2016-17. He made his club debut the same day, starting a 1-0 away win over Shrewsbury Town.
