The problem is we failed to acknowledge these issues last season but we got away with it thanks to individual quality. This year, no one is really standing out and we’re getting caught out so easily. I’d argue Arsenal aren’t as good as they were last season in terms of going forward, but they’re better at managing games and that comes with experience. The apprentice has become the master, and the master (Pep) has to reevaluate how this team progresses forward. It’s the end of an era for this team in particular, but not the end for us being at the top. Congrats to Arsenal, put us away and punished us for our mistakes.
Can man city do a fergie and rebuild a new team as well as he did more than once,they have lost any fear factor and looking to play side to side bore you to sleep then score football is not working anymore I say perhaps pass from the back always and pep’s style have had their day thank god😊

Think Gary is spot on about the team selection. Why would we play a 442 with Bernardo and Kovacic against a physical, dominant Arsenal midfield. That's not down to injuries that's down to poor selection.

This City side has been riding there luck the last couple of seasons they are not a great side but its Gusrdiola and some key players thst kept them punching…this aura that they were the best in Europe is rubbish they were very lucky in a final against Inter in that thet played so poor like they did against Chelsea but were lucky…they got over the line in the league got lucky when Liverpool were pipped by 1 point that league was theirs and Arsenal blew 2 leads to give them the title…this side is no where near the 2018 2014 or 2012 sides of the past…Pep has never built different sides he bailed at Barca and did the same at Bayern…he has stayed at City and now sees its harder when you don't inherit a good group and have an open cheque book…he'll struggle to build his own side to challenge again as he doesn't have the advantages he once had…

STOP protecting Phil Foden! 😅 if this was trent, salah, walker haaland any united player, you would be obliterating them. Its truly embarrassing how the media find tons of ways to protect poor phil foden. If phil foden wasnt English would he be criticised.. understand the tone, even jude Bellingham gets criticised massively in Madrid, even after the season he had personally..
Read between the lines, of all these media broadcasters, on how phil foden is approached and coated. It's not to say critisise everyone, but show equality we all can see the underlining tonality.
