He was fantastic in Southampton for years in Premier league, but Southampton is simple a team that is not so much focused on attack so his quality was not visible as now in Ajax, he is older (30) but still got 4-5 years at top level and Ajax should build team around him and 3-4 other experinced players.
He is not every game brilliant, but you see his quality still. So ballstrong, dangerous passes and scoring ability and a Killer mentality. Absolutely great signing from Ajax. They took home Gold with Tadic.
