  1. I love Kone but this situation screams immaturity to me. That’s okay though because what is he 23? 24? You can see in interviews that he’s a laid back even keeled guy and maybe that shows up in training because he doesn’t have the urgency to show results. It’s clear he has the talent to play at a high level so hopefully his move will give him some playing time, confidence, and a space that can help mature the person and player.

  2. Om is a trash club sitting on their 92-93 champions league from which they were excluded in season 93-94 for corruption and match-fixing and relagated in league 2.(my personal opinion).
Ikoné could find a better club to develop him. Something like Stade Rennais, OL wich in top 5 of best league 1 "formation club". Anyway, OM's project is going nowhere like every season. They dont have time to developand give time. They just want "confirmed" players reach champions league next season and get kicked out as usual. (still my harsh personal opinion as a PSG fan😅).

  3. Canada needs one or two legitimate clubs/leagues in Europe to absorb our talents similar to the way the CSA has pathways via provincial programs for the 3 MLS teams.

We need a gateway club in essence that keeps a keen eye on Canada. Right now with Johnston’s success at Celtic I can see that sort of being the club that allows Canadians to shine. You can argue the quality of SPL vs Championship but Celtic is champions league! Players like Buchanan and Kone would come through a club like that. Leicester comes to mind. Anyhoo

Imagine kone with some familiar faces while he progresses.?!?

  4. Dezerbi has never shown a high-level as a manager. He finished 6th with a Brighton squad that contained a midfield 3 of Pascal Gross, Caicedo and MacAllister. Amazing attacking talent as well. Then the next season his team flopped. This is why he ended up doing a parallel move to marseille instead of a big move up.
