Second half strikes from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden fired City to a deserved 3-1 win over Chelsea in a dramatic Etihad clash – and up into fourth place in the Premier League table.

On a pulsating afternoon which saw both Omar Marmoush and Abdukodir Khusanov handed their City debuts, Chelsea had taken a third minute lead through Noni Madueke.

City though deservedly levelled before the break thanks to Josko Gvardiol’s close-range strike.

Pep Guardiola’s side then turned up the heat after the restart with Haaland despatching a stunning 67th minute chip to fire us ahead.

  1. Hello! First of all, I congratulate you on your victory. I express my gratitude to the coaching staff of Manchester City who supported Husanov, and of course to all the players on the field! Husanov still has a long way to go, he will certainly show himself in the next matches and prove that he is worthy of the team. Respect! 😎✊️

  2. Im not a city fan by any means but im happy your team got back to it and im also a big fan of marmoush so yeah,I wanna thank pep for starting him and also If I could say one thing to khusanov is to not worry about a small silly mistake

  3. Wow kushanov WHAT A BLOCK!! If you see this you so much potentiel mistakes happens tl everyone so just look forward and you will become a super defender

  4. I think there was a choice between Akanji and Khusanov and it seems there is a point where one was going to leave it for the other. By then the ball was in an awkward position. It was probably an Akanji ball had he not slowed to a stop to leave it for Mr Khusanov. Akanji was coming in fast initially and could have got it first. Akanji was just being kind to his knew friend.

Lets be honest it's just one of those things in football that happen. In any game across football and in 90 minutes everyone makes mistakes. Just a communication issue.
Like Mr Haaland said – Peace of mind. Look how that peace of mind payed off.

  5. It looks like City has just gained a large group of Uzbek fans who will no doubt express their love for the club in the comments after every match and will remain lifelong supporters. I wonder what happened to all the Algerian fans. We dont hear much from them any more.
