I honestly cannot understand why people get so carried away with double weeks. People make the same mistake every single time. I wont ever transfer a player in just because they have a double week unless they are a good option anyway so are a good long term hold or I'm planning an immediate wildcard.
Why use a transfer to bring a player in and then another one to transfer them out after the double? Absolute waste of time and waste of free transfers.
A poor pick like DCL will probably get outpointed by single gameweek players anyway.
I used to make these mistakes years ago,. obsessing over doubleweek players and bringing them in only to then have a load of shit players in my team after the double that I want to immediately get rid of. Just isnt worth it.
Well I've benched Palmer for this upcoming G.W. > major benching headache as I've got Haaland, Isak, Wood, Sarr, Rogers, Salah and Murphy – all these have easier opposition than playing Man.City‼️‼️‼️ Take care buddy boy. 🫂
Wasn't sure about Gakpo, but watched his goals and assists vid for Lfc, and he has got good composure, buys himself a bit of extra time instead of panicking. A four game punt. Darwin has a higher ceiling but will miss too many chances to nail down 1st choice striker it seems.
