With the World Cup now over and the Premier League returning imminently, today we’re taking a look at 10 players you should keep a close eye on as domestic football resumes! Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka was one of the players of the tournament in Qatar, and now has the task of compensating for the loss of injured Gabriel Jesus at the Emirates, as does Eddie Nketiah, who will fill in for the Brazilian at centre-forward with Mikel Arteta’s side five points clear at the top going into the festive period.
We also take a look at Morocco hero Nayef Aguerd, who has barely played for West Ham due to injury but is due to return to the line-up, while Kaoru Mitoma and Richarlison both return from impressive campaigns in Qatar to Brighton and Tottenham respectively. Jadon Sancho will also be under the microscope after training in isolation during the mid-season break, while Alexander Isak will be hoping to bounce back from injury to boost Newcastle’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
