      Alisson is the least of our problems…. Waste of oxygen discussing this….. smh

      Discuss whether squad can see out the PL….. Smh

      Areas needed:
      Lb, CB , midfield , a better forward player than Chiesa…..
      Those are the pressing issues at a minimum in Jan CB and midfielder needed as a matter of urgency….

      I think the biggest problem is our fullbacks. They are both being overrun. You can’t will the league with only two centre backs and a goalie

      If Alisson doesn't produce exemplary performance over the next few weeks it will be hard to keep his no 1 position, and therefore, difficult to move him over the summer.

      I absolutely love Alisson but I was saying weeks ago that I thought Kelleher was now better everyone was laughing. Now there is a discussion on it. But we had months were our defensive was amazing. I think it was the consistency with Kelleher, we should have just stayed with what was working for us. If it's not broken don't fix it.

      Kelleher has been better for us*this season and the last calendar year*

      He's faced 15 shots and 9 have gone in. If that was Kelleher filling in for an injured Alisson people would be counting down the days until Alisson is back or maybe even calling for Jaros to start.

      A couple of years id have thought Alisson could keep going until late 30s now I'm not so sure. Would have been gutted to lose him but not as bothered now. Though don't know what Marma will be like in a few years. Still would have had Kelleher as the number 1. Is he better than peak Alisson? No, but very few keepers are. Might take another 20-30 years to get one that will be of his level. Difficult to get world class goalkeepers.

      Yes Alisson has been poor since his return. He’s barely made a good save. After the performance of Forest keeper Sels, the BBC had interesting list of best performing keepers in the league, Alisson is not on the list at all

      Normally, Alison saves that against forest and the Martinez goal let's not forget he is the best keeper in the world and he will be the ali we know and live just a bad few moments.

      I completely agree with everything you said. He, in his prime, would have saved some of the goals he conceded post injury. However, it is to be noted that the defence has been either short of staff or have played poorly the last few games. So that also adds the goal tally.

      Also, Kelleher does not save that. If anyone disagrees, then they clearly haven't seen the goals Kelleher concedes. Kelleher is the best no 2 in the world and one of the best in the league but even this poor form Ali is better than Kelleher. Many do not understand why Alisson is that good or has been the best gk in the world just because they do not understand gk positioning and art of sweeping, both of which Alisson does better than Kelleher and so in a lot of situations, you would see Kelleher making saves in those situations while Ali does not have to, and they'd feel Kelleher is better but he is not. Alisson has dipped though and this is the 1st time it has happened but let's see if he recovers but for now, imo he should still start and looks like Slot agrees.

      Remember last season his horrendous mistakes against Arsenal in the Emirares and the match was gone in a blink of an eye and from then on the options to tittle started to decline very quickly.

      Am I glad you brought this up. I thought it was just me who thinks Ali’s form hasn’t been the same since his injury 😞 He could have saved those goals (United and Forest matches). So disappointing.

      I love having tweaking concerns while sitting atop both the Prem and CL. Like complaining about inflation when you're a trillionaire. I'd be fine with Queev and Mamardashvili, while selling Alisson, whose aches & pains & age are slowing him up. Same with our equally beloved Robbo. Time stops for no man.
