      Giocatore onestissimo…sputava il sangue in campo anche se a volte sbagliava, sul piano dell' impegno e della voglia non si poteva discutere..negli ultimi anni era calato fisicamente ma penso sia normale… sicuramente migliore di tutti quelli che abbiamo oggi…

      Absolutely fantastic player and a real rock at the back.
      It’s such a shame injuries held him back the last 3 years or so but before that run of bad luck there wasn’t a team around that wouldn’t love to have him on their books.

      I hope he gets a chance to read through messages from the tifosi just so he know how much he meant to us, the supporters, and the club as a whole and, though it’s so sad to see him leave the game, he done so on his own terms rather than someone who ends up playing in the Antarctic 5th division at 45 because he just didn’t know when to stop.

      Hopefully, he’ll go for his badges and he’ll become a coach or a manager and maybe, just maybe if our stars align, we’ll see him back on the bench at Milan, bringing back the good old days when there wasn’t a season went by where we didn’t get our hands on a single trophy
