Ben, Dunlop and Alex are back in the Northern Futbol virtual studio on what was a quieter week for Canadian soccer.
They discuss what the recent opening of the transfer window means for Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David, discuss Premier League links or potential other destinations, and whether a lack of a January camp will hurt the CanMNT.
They also dive into some big transfer moves from CF Montreal and the continually growing concerns about the coaching vacancies at Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
After that, they look at whether the CanWNt will feature NSL callups in the league’s inaugural season and where the national team head coaching search is in the second week of 2025.

Alex mentioned Grady & Shilo & dual national teens who Marsch should invite to the Gold cup camp & I fully agree; but I also really hope that he invites Santiago Lopez once again.
He is 19 & a terrific young player! Canada has been inviting him & he must be thinking that Mexico will only invite him when they think that he has proven himself.
On another topic, Brian White will be 29 years old on February 3rd. It's a little late in his career to be breaking out as a future star for the U.S…
Emma Regan is doing what Julia Grosso is not. Regan has been the most impressive player in the midfield every time she's played. And it is noticeable.
I was making dinner and listening to the podcast …Great episode, I 💙 hearing about new up and comers or dual national to watch..Similar to Promise David when he was in Estonia playing for Nomme Kalju. And now to see Promise on a collision course with the National Team is an exciting prospect ⚽🍁
