Extended highlights from St Mary’s Stadium, where Brentford stormed to their first away win of the Premier League season with a 5-0 victory against Southampton.
Kevin Schade’s early goal and Bryan Mbeumo’s second-half brace were added to in stoppage-time by Keane Lewis-Potter and Yoane Wissa in a totally dominant performance from the Bees as they recorded their biggest-ever Premier League win.

I wish Wissa passed it to Mbeumo for the hat trick 😂
Good win. See ya on Saturday lads
How was that not 10-0?
Damsgaard man…
Finally, our first away win of the season and then in some style! It was a very good team performance and it should give the team a positive confidence booster going into a spell of pretty tough looking games. To be honest, it could well have been and should have been more than 5-0.
Taking into account Yoane's two bad misses, Keane's glaring miss, Christian's header against the bar and Sepp's disallowed header which I am sure should have stood, we could have had at least seven if not more.
Being positively critical, I would say that we have to be more clinical with our finishing. I am sure that if our finishing had been anywhere near as good as yesterday's during some of our earlier away games we would have had more points on the road.
Generally in the Premier League one does not get so many chances as we got yesterday and when we get them we have to make them count.
Despite the fact it was good win, we should realise that Southampton made it pretty easy for us. They are not bottom of the table for nothing.
Hopefully we can take this impetus into next week's FA Cup match against Plymouth.
COYB!!!🐝🐝🐝
I feel sorry for Ramsdale!
You've missed the Wissa one-on-one chance from the Schade flick on at the start of the second half
Soton at home 💀

Southampton goalie had a good game. It could easily have been ten.
❤
Fantastic result!!!! Well needed three points and especially away from home. COYB!!! 🐝🐝🐝
Mbomo, is good 😅
What a performance from Brentford.
Bednarek are you Barbie girl? What are you doing in Southampton ?
I wish we didn't make fun of Ramsdale so much 😅 we could have signed him otherwise but he probably hates us now
Did you guys notice that before the penalty was given it was shown 3 – 0 to brentford
🇨🇻🇨🇻
This was the most fun game I have watched us play all season, everyone was feasting 😁 I actually had Schade to score on Stake and I couldn't believe my eyes when he scored after just 6min, I feel bad for Ramsdale having to endure this but it is what it is
Could have been 10. Well done the Bees.
Southampton were lucky though😢😂
Look at 4:36 how the defender pushes the player going for the ball in the air. It's an example of hundred of duels in premier league.
It baffles me how the league that was once known for his long balls and aerial duels is allowing this cheating to go on and on.
Actually it's so bad and players know so well the push won't be whistled that I've seen numerous occasions where a player misses an easy ball mid air just because he positions instinctively his body waiting for the foul to come : it's ridiculous and make the game looks childish.
People buy expensive tickets to see millionaire basically refusing to go for a header.
Ivan Toney, How do you do?
