Why would we sell Rowls at this time and point in season and position we are in crazy
Best fit defender we have got jst now. and who's to say new players settle in right away fighting relegation and selling best players for peanuts still
I'm delighted with the fee for Rowles. He's fu*king garbage. The amount of times he's been ragdolled by second rate forwards is embarrassing.
Have never been a fan of Rowles, so taking £600k for him is a no-brainer. Plenty opportunity in January for the club to bolster the defence. Hoping Oda, Vargas, and McKay are also moved out this month. None of them would be a loss.
I wonder if Hearts are admitting that they see no more improvement in Rowles? As you admitted (and we can all see), he's poor under a high ball. Every team we're up against can see it too and continually drop high balls in on top of us. We're fragile and concede too many goals, he's, sadly, not suited to our game. Time to cut our losses and move on?

Callum Paterson would be a great signing! Give that aerial threat we’ve been crying out for all season , we put about about 100 crosses in the opposition s box every game , we’re toothless up front relying on a 17 year old kid and a soon to be 34 year old Liam Boyce who hasn’t scored in almost 2 & half years , someone in the de vries , simms Kevin Kyle is badly needed but not sure if the computer agrees.
Daniel obeokaed (spelling!) out of position, Hallket not match fit, Kingsley and Kent crock and we now sell Rowles 😮 – computer says no! Analylitics 😅won’t matter who we sign if our defence is now the swamp of leith rather than the castle rock
Thanks for the update Joel, always catch this late being left coast USA. I think Rowles being Aussie, in Scottish leagues, he was never going to demand big money. If he was EFL may have demanded more. Maybes eh! Best of luck to him I'll see him when he heads to play Quakes.
Letting Rowles go mid season is a disaster. We need to add bodies, not just replace numbers. Hoping this new lad works. Rowles not a great advancer of the ball, but definitely a bit more solid at the back than he gets credit for.
