“World Class” is a foolish debate that means nothing. It is soccer fans equivalent of the NFL fans “is this QB elite” nonsense. People love to discuss non existent, arbitrary ratings.
As a Leeds fan, I will say that the improvement I’ve seen from Brendon Aaronson this season gives me the indication that he could be a regular player in the EPL. He may not be a regular starter, but super sub and spot starter is well within the hopes for next season if Leeds keeps up this form.
Although I agree with him not being world-class, you are correct that takes time to get to that level. However, not being the best left back in the Premier League right now that’s criminal. Please name someone playing better at left back right now in the Prem, I challenge you to do that. He is the best left back in the Premier League right now for sure. He is currently the only defender in the Prem right now with 10 or more assists this calendar year, 7 this season and 4 in last six appearances last season. So good luck coming up with someone better than him at left back in the Prem right now.
If Robinson is such a good defender and is great on the counterattack, I don’t see why his limitations in technical ability should prevent him from being considered the best LB in the league.
Robinson is much better then I remember him to be I remember that game against Brazil he was getting destroyed

About ARob, hard to argue there's a better LB than him in the premiership, at this moment. But for ARob to be fully world-class, at some point, he'll have to have these great performances… against the best in Europe in Champions League (which isn't going to happen at Fulham). That's something that the other "world-class fullbacks" in the premiership have done. Hopefully, he moves on to a bigger club.

I'm confused by your semantics on Robinson. Everybody else in the world (backed by statistics) are saying he's one of the top couple LBs in one of the top couple leagues in the world this year, but that's not "world-class" to you? What is your definition of world-class and where are you purposely drawing the line to not include him in that group?
I think there are some left backs in the prem that are better than ARob (cucurella, Gvardiol) but currently ARob is outperforming everyone with Fulham. And I think the reason for that is like tac said his style of play fits perfectly for Fulham

Jedi is imho currently top 10 left back in the world in his current form and considering others form.
He has gotten so much better with his crosses (currently third in the epl in assists) and just dominates people with his athleticism.
Problem with Tac and Pete is that they have a take on a player and stick to it instead of understanding that players can actually improve.

Let’s say Jedi isn’t there yet, but he is definitely top 10 right backs in the world. Someone can’t be very technical and all that, but lack 75% of Jedi’s game. Which makes the debate very interesting.

Jedi may not be a world class player but he is elite. As Elite you can be without being World Class And he is likely best LB in EPL- there is certainly no one that is just all out considered the best EPL LB. But you can't deny he is one of the best LB in the world. He just is. USMNT is fortunate to have him

I’d willingly admit that Jedi is the only world class USMNT player. He’s on a tear right now. Pulisic is elite but I feel Jedi is the best player we have in terms of consistency. Feel free to argue below I wanna hear your thoughts
