      As soon as griezman rabiot varane sub I know France will loose the penalty taking,to honest loris didn't do well some of the penalty he should have saved atleast 2

      Gosh what an overreaction. Coming from an Argentina fan, dembele and giroud just didn’t have it on the night they both still had great tournaments. This instant overreaction culture is so annoying I know ESPN fc are the poster boys for that kinda stuff but dembele and giroud both World Cup winners already will be fine. One bad game dosent define anybody especially two of Frances best players.

      Nothing really. The Argentine team was allowed to disrupt the match with endless fouls in order to disrupt the flow for France and the French coaching staff saw this and were forced to bring more physical players to overcome the dirty Argentine footballer's. France were denied their victory. Beautifully scripted by Qatar. Enjoy the façade.

      Dembele I've said for years is not player you can rely on in big games but that Giroud substitution I thought was absolutely disgusting best part is yeah since he's became Frances all time top scorer aye the word on the street was. Has Giroud been underestimated his whole career? Well I think that question was answered..

      It definitely benefits Chelsea the most. Why? While the world cup was going on, important players were recovering and returning from injuries, i.e Reece James, Chilwell, Fofana, e.t.c. And, Koulibaly, Pulisic, and Ziyech are all returning with incredible match-fitness and confidence, whereas Kovacic and Thiago returns as one of the players of the tournament. All that is required now is for Potter to make the right decisions.

      Dembele can have his moment and you don't want to meet him on his good day, but he is way to inconsistent and has not got the ELITE mentality! He was disgraceful and was right to be subbed.

      Nothing will change for dembele. Most overrated over hyped and over loved player of all time. This guy has cost all of his teams so many games and points and win then so little. You start wondering if it's a handicap to let him play for your side… Biggest fraud ever

      You know in icehockey they remove one player during extra time. So it gives them a bit more space on the ice to play and it's pretty exciting to watch, cause it opens up the game and it's chance after chance in both ends. You could do that in football too. One player the first15, and then another one, and keep going until someone scores a goal instead of deciding the world cup on penalties. It's not like they don't get enough subs these days.
      In fact they should get rid of penalties altogether. They've become way to decisive. Some random ball hits a hand and that becomes the deciding moment in a game. That's hardly in the spirit of the game. The punishment should fit the crime. Make it all indirect free kicks. Still a good chance that and a 100 times more entertaining to watch.

      Hugo Lloris is always the weak link in France. He can’t save a penalty. If he stands on his feet Argentina he would have easily saved Messi and Dybala’s kicks but as usual he dives all over the place

      As for deschamps he got outfoxed by the Argentina coach by starting Di Maria(which was the player that made the difference) not Messi…starting Di Maria on France right side(weaker side) unbalanced France

      scaloni has exposed how to stop mbappe, u just need to keep the ball on the opposite side of the pitch with good possession and a good left winger that way opposite team will find it hard to counter attack the ball to mbappe making his pace useless in any game

      Raphina was the best one, but vini was better
      But that midfield got muscled over by Amrabat, dembele was nonexistent

      These pundits are trying their best to discredit the World Cup in Qatar.Unfortunately this is what are getting from biased racist western pundits except from few decent guys .If they attended the tournament I would say it is ok but they are staying in their studios and pass a judgment. Only people who attended can give their honest opinion .

      Deschamps had to change something, it really shouldn't impact them in the long run. It was necessary to stay in the game and that's it. Both players had a good impact in other games.

      In an alternate universe Martinez antics were useless and France scored all their penalties.. I bet you the pundits would have said the goal keeper should have focused on the penalties and didn’t help himself trying to get in the players head😂….ah I love punditry

      It was an extremely entertaining game. Lots of momentum changes. Both teams had opportunities to win before penalties. To lose in penalties is not the end of the world.

      Why Dembele is in the French team ahead of Saint-Maximin who can’t even make the squad, beats me. Imagine Saint-Maximin running at a tired Argentina defence in Extra Time…

      What was Ale’s contribution apart from diving, because he certainly wasn’t a prolific striker. 1 in 5 ratio in the league, 3 goals in 40 internationally

      It is actually kind of suprising how bad Dembele was. I mean the whole team didnt look great but everyone else could at least sort of hold the ball and find a teammate. Dembele barely touched the ball and when he did touch it, he miscontrolled it in a sloppy manner or gave it away again in a sloppy manner. It was like, what are you doing man, this is a World Cup final. Do you realize the position your in? Do you have any idea how many people would kill to be in the position your in? Playing and starting in a World Cup final. And to add the cherry on top, he gives away such a stupid foul. I know your not a defender but jesus that was again just so sloppy and lazy. We argue whether it was a little soft or not but you made contact with the player and missed the ball inside the penalty box!! I mean common, he deserved to go off after 40 minutes maybe even a little before that. He has no one else to blame but himself.

      Hugo Lloris has made huge penalty saves over past 5-6 years for Spurs & France!! Why would he say Hugo can’t save a penalty. I’d really expect Stevie to know this, as 1 of Main PL “experts” ! I Know pundit & expert is a Oxymoron!!
