  1. as a chelsea fan, absolutely love mendy, he came and left as a champion, it was sad to see him leave but those chelsea times were full of struggles

  2. I’d like to compare mendy to duck tape- short term he was really good, pulled off some really class performances however over time the duck tape wore off and needed changing. Still I thought he was good just a shame he had no longevity

  3. Did ok in a defensive style formation which is the reason for some of the clean sheets and was lucky to get away with errors that didn't lead to goals but as the manager and style changed to being less defensive he had more to do and the luck with the errors ran out and started costing Chelsea

  4. Was Mendy a one season wonder?-Yes
Was he ever actually "The best goalkeeper in the world?"- Not even close. But pretty good one in terms of quality in that exact season.

  5. When he arrived at Ahli he was not the fan’s favorite. The way he started the season was the worse u could see. We even thought he has problems in his eye and he cant see well. However, all change when he suddenly saved a loop ball that he made it hard to himself yet he saved it once he made that save he reach the ball in the corner and the fans supported him crazy. The next match was the derby and he made big saves against benzinma and we won. After that he gain his confidence again and now he is improving massively he makes clean sheets with his national team and his club regularly. He is not the best but he is fighting and now he plays better with his feet a thing it was a nightmare if done it. For penalties he still very weak on it. But he is trying to
