Tottenham Hotspur have not been quite as active in the transfer window this summer – only signing Archie Gray from Leeds United and Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC, Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth and Wilson Odobert from Burnley – but over the last few years under Ange Postecoglou Spurs have been building a top youth side.

With the help of Daniel Levy, Scott Munn, Johan Lange and Fabio Paratici Spurs have lowered the average age of the squad to 25.

The Premier League is heating up with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves aka Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City.

The former Celtic, Yokohama F. 1. The writings on the wall -…
In Ange we do NOT trust anymore . His style IS burning out the players … hence the injuries
It’s not working and it is not going to work .

  2. They’d be stupid to sack Ange. We have an injury crisis. Worse than any other team.

I won’t deny that Levy needs to give him the backing he very much needs in January but getting rid of Ange isn’t the answer and I’m slightly disappointed that you’re giving in to the speculation and almost calling for his head.

Who would you bring in to replace him?

As fans, we need to stick by the manager. By all means, call for Levy to do one but stand by Ange. Things will come good.

  3. This club is terrible. Levy please sell this club as soon as possible. You are a failure there no discussion. Get out please and take all your millions you greedy bastard.

  4. Sick and tired of this team….our fans are the most patient and optimistic however, if you hire a mechanic and they damage your car, a doctor and he operates on the wrong leg, a builder and he never turns up, you bin them. Ange has to go he is an incompetent football manager with no plan B if we get a few injuries

  5. Why are so many of our fans simping for this fool. All the injuries are his fault look back at the celtic injury crisis and what was reported. He admitted it was his fault due to the intense training methods. And in the interviews he said he would not change his methods even with recurring injuries as his beliefs are the players will be better for it. At this rate half our players careers will be over if he continues with them. ANGE OUT

  6. I do think that Ange needs to go. He isn’t all to blame, but he is a big reason we are where we are.

Game management from Ange is non-existent. We sat back in the second half (so a change in approach) and that actually was our downfall. Ange seems to put out a tactic and expect the players to know how to manage it from there on in. He isn’t a Mourhino, Klopp, or Guardiola, where you can visibly see them shouting tactics and tweaking things in-game. Also the fact he did change approach and we drew shows badly on him due to our current situation.

Players at his disposal (even with our full squad) are not good enough. Low quality and low IQ players. Their choices in game are shocking at the best of times. They are consistently losing the ball or giving it away with poor touches. They are also not playing for him and are visibly tired from his high intensity football.

Ange’s Coaching seems to be causing injuries to our players. I’m not there to see, but the way we play, means we need to train in the same vain and the injuries that are coming up week in week out, I believe is a result of his training methods. Also the players are not elite or even high quality imo. Son is gone. Romero wants out. The forward line are average. Our midfield are young and naive, seem to lack the required discipline to play in the middle of the park. Bentencour has just come back and already got himself suspended lol.

Also, the fact we have low quality players (who are not team players) means the level required in training that influence others and raise their game isn’t there, so we have this cycle.

Also, Ange’s naïveté in putting injured players who haven’t fully recovered back in to play. Shows a lack of experience.

In short we are royally screwed 😂

  7. Mate EVERY SINGLE pundit on tv and radio say he cannot keep playing his only way of playing tesults were crap up and down even before the current injuries, not into keep sacking managers BUT SURELY need a manager who can play more than 1 style of football, Ange has said hes not going to change so results won't either

  8. Dear santa! Can u bring us a real team, a real elite manager and real return on the investment of time and money we afford this club. Now, the podcasters channeling our time too. Next year is too late. Jan sales would be sweet. anything better than this 2nd hand lego kit would be fantastic. coys

  9. Ange in or out is not a fans decision. It's the Chairman. Spurs will NOT win the next two games and Spurs are sliding towards the bottom five? Yes. Once again, I repeat this is not an injury crisis. The turning point of the season was the loss to Ipswich Town. That was a full team except for VDV. Since Ipswich we have played 11 and won just three City, United and Saints. Spurs have not won at home since 3rd November 2024. I believe after Newcastle and Liverpool Ange will be sacked and Ryan Mason will be made interim Coach for a third time. Agree with you Sonny about the Chairman but unless you have 3 – 4 Billion available he's not going anywhere. Finally, Ange is a poor coach. Once again today, against a poor Wolves team, Spurs did not play as a team. We gave the ball away, we lost the ball in possession too often and when we broke away out attackers are so spread out. We have Dom and two wid players. It was easy for Wolves to defend against an attack that is so spread out. Poor tactics and poor coaching. Ange is not up to the job. He lives on those opening ten games of last season. But, in truth, where we are reflects this team and its coach and average team that has no idea how to defend.

  10. The sooner everyone realises that the season is going to be very tough with all these injuries the sooner everyone can all move on. A thing squad with a massive injury crisis has finally caught up with spurs. Leave Ange where he is to see out the season. Win a cup and finish top 10 and keep building

  11. Pundits seem to think that it's the manager, or the owners, the board, the players, the staff that need to change. It is all of that on top of every level of management in the organization. When you have this level of mediocrity for so long, the issues run far deeper than the customer facing elements. What we do know is that if you continually purchase the "wrong" players and the "wrong" than the issue isn't the players or the manager.

How about we stick with them for long enough to have a window of time that is favourable to the development of the team before we rage for the cycle to start all over again?

  12. You knew which way Son was going with the penalty, do you think then that the goal keeper knew that as well !!!!!. How about Sonny mixing it up ??? How about Sonny knowing that he's not in a good place mentally at the moment and show leadership ( not selfishness) & let Solanke take the penalty. I'm so over his underperforming efforts, he was a non participant in the game ,and everyone is having a go at Werner….. How about rolling the sleeves up as Ange is ???

  13. Ange is not the issue , neither is Levy
Rotten luck and clueless fans are the issue. Too much arrogance from some of the fan base . Change means change … Rebuild means Rebuild …. Everything takes time , some understanding and some pain along the way . Instead ,there is too much whining…

  14. Ange should seriously consider leaving Tottenham for a rival club, as this pathetic organization will only stifle his talent and ambition. Last season, when Spurs had a full squad, they were sitting at the top of the table; now, they’re struggling with a second-string lineup that lacks defenders and has a light midfield, with a faltering striker to boot. Who is Ange meant to work with? Current injuries to key players like Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Richarlison, Ben Davies, Djed Spence, and Odobert make it impossible for him to build a competitive team.

The toxic negativity from the fan base is palpable, with a complete lack of respect and patience for the manager. There’s an underlying poison that seeps through the club; no one ever walks away from Spurs saying how much they love the fans or the organization. Regardless of who the manager is, there’s always a fallout and bitterness, a testament to the culture of failure that permeates Tottenham.

Over the past two seasons, Ange has faced an unrelenting wave of injuries and suspensions, and the fans and the board are trapped in a cycle of hiring and firing managers, from Antonio Conte to José Mourinho, only to watch the club’s toxicity swallow yet another promising coach.

Ange deserves far better than to waste his talent on such mediocrity. He and Romero might as well leave together, seeking clubs that value ambition and success instead of clinging to a hollow reputation that only stifles potential. It’s time for him to escape this toxic environment before it ruins yet another great coach.

  15. At this point we are an erik ten hag team we are just focused on cup sucess but look at the league we have lost more than we have won and just 2 wins in 9 games he has Alfie dorrington but no make a stupid makeshift backline if u have young players you take a risk if u can't play them at this point then when will they play that look at curbarsi and others wasn't it injury crisis that caused them to come at this point if we lose to Newcastle pls give him the sack

  16. Does no good to sack yet another manager. All of the last 5 managers we’ve had have been capable and successful managers everywhere else they’ve been. Maybe some of them didn’t want to be here so that’s fine but it makes no sense to get rid of a manager after 18 months when he wants to be here and build something special. I’d like to see this club keep a manager until the end of his damn contract for once. This is stupid talk. The fans seem to be upset no matter what happens. But we’re not there yet and it’s because we lack patience and stability. There will be a point where you will not be able to attract talented managers if they know they’re just gonna get the boot after 12-18 months no matter what they do. And I feel we’re nearly there. Just give it time. COYS!!
