Newcastle won a fourth successive league and cup game, their best run of form since October 2023.

Three victories in a row represents United’s longest PL winning sequence since September 2023.

Alexander Isak made it 11 goals in the PL this season and now has 42 in that competition for the Magpies – taking him one ahead of Les Ferdinand and one behind both Andy Cole and Shola Ameobi.

Anthony Gordon now has four PL goals in 2024/25 and 16 in total for Newcastle. He draws level with Fabian Schar and now has one less than Bruno Guimaraes.

Joelinton’s third PL strike of the campaign increases his total to 21, one less than Laurent Robert and two away from both Miguel Almiron and Kieron Dyer.
