I feel that is not healthy (footballistically talking) being under Pep as a player for to much time
He is how he is, he will mold your style to his tactics and when you lost your level he will remplace you, and you are now alone with your Pep Guardiola molded style that probably wont work in other teams
Probably some midfielders can benefit from him, but as for forward players this thing that happened with Julian will eventually happen
Or you accept your subroll (Mahrez, Grealish, Sterling, Pedro) or you leave (Palmer, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic and now Julian)
This is BS. Alvarez massively underachieved in his 2nd season at city. they didn’t want to sell him but have a policy of allowing players to leave.
Haaland Humble Pie for Xmas!! 😂🤣😂😂
I think it's the loss of both Alverez and Rodri that did MC in.
It made me very happy to see Julian arrive at City and it made me very happy to see Julian leave…
Sell halland is trahs.
Alvarez delivers on those big matches, he performs even better when the pressure is high. I dont think Haaland is that kind of player; he is a goal scoring machine but he doesnt perform as well when the team needs him the most.
Alvarez was one of Argentina important players alongside messi goal keeper etc clicked very well alongside messi unlike in past like higiun and lautaro
He benched him. BAD DECISION
Alverez isn't missed. We just need a rebuild that was schduled to take place next summer anyways.
I will say what we all know is true. Alvarez is a complete player, Haaland is not. But the real reason Pep sold off Julian Alvarez is because Pep's daughter was infatuated with Julian. You only have to look at pics of her salivating over Alvarez at the Ceremonies, to understand the subtle reasons for Pep's decision.
Let him be humbled 😂
That's simple, Julian brought in because he was the right piece for Pep formation. Meanwhile, Haaland was like a Roll Royce with 60% off during the holiday. It was hard to resist the deal.
Imagine Alvarez, Palmer and Halland in the team
"Julian want more play time but i have another 17 players that want play too" ok tell me one of another 17 player that can do same work than Julian…
Julian y palmer son estrellas en sus respectivos clubs.
Pep got jealous because his daughter had a crush on Alvarez and Pep is not happy with that so he has to remove Alvarez to end the rumored romance.
He just had to open the second game against Real Madrid
Call me crazy but I do really think there's this aura or luck that some people have a lot like Alvarez and some don't like Kane which makes you win trophies or not. You want a lot of this "lucky" players on your team to win and I heard Simeone really believes in this too.
Alvarez is a gem they lost

The Argentines were the amulet of Manchester City's mystique. Guardiola's serious mistake is costing him dearly
