Cucurella has been a better, more successful and trophy winning Left back ALL year (read the rules of the list)… Tijani Reinjers is the best player at Milan, (trophy winning, top off the league, African player of the year) Lookman has been the best player in Serie A – ask Italians!… it is pure AMERICAN bias to ignore this…
Apparently the same publication is biased against America when it’s the men but not the women?… even your victimhood is inconsistent… btw the paramount doc was made by Americans for Americans to feed a victim narrative… whisper it but maybe the rest of the world doesn’t rate your players like you do…

The anti American bias continues! Nobody reads the Guardian because of its anti-American bias. In my opinion, the English Premier League is a hyberbowl, and it is the worst league in Europe.

Okay say Pulisic is 95 – but Inter's whole team made it on the list ahead of him? And he is way below Morata and Leao? And apparently above Reijders who didn't even make the list? And Foden is still up there at 15 even though pulisic and 40 other players on the list are having a way better season? Like what are the metrics lol

It's honestly not a bad ranking at this time. Christian has to show that he can stay fit and in-form for Milan, or any club, for at least a full year before meriting a higher place. If he keeps this up than i think he's at least top 50 on any such list this time next year

Americans always think they are better than they are. Its known as american exceptionalism and most of the time its complete nonsense. Pulisic is lucky to make the top 100.
I think it's just about right. Real Madrid (which is one of the best team in world) alone has 23 players, so if you count all the players in a team that is above Pulisic's level, then, say even counting only 4 of the top teams in the world 23×4=92 players. So 95th is pretty high position. It means he's good enough to play in the 2nd place team of a European top4 league. By last year's result, that could be Liverpool, Bercelona, AC Milan, VfbSttugart. And Pulisic played for AC Milan last year right?
There is no anti-American nonsense. The fact he flopped in the Premier League the best league in the world and him going to a much lower quality league and playing well doesn’t significantly improve his ranking. He is playing in the 4th league in Europe.
some of you actually need to find logic and sense, pulisic has done well the last season and a half but nothing he has done is at all special when you are talking world soccer, he isnt even on a top 5 team in serie a, he isnt the best winger serie a isnt a top 7 attacker in a league that isnt top 3 right now and you expect hjim to be 25 itw? highest he goes to is 90 and thats being extremely generous.
he isnt a top 20 and hes closer to the 30 range. leao is in bad form but at his best he clears what ever pulsic is capable of. he won the league and was the mvp 2 season ago

I don't think it was anti-American to not have anyone American male besides Pulisic on the list this year. The U.S has some good players but it is hard to they would make most people's top 100 in 2024.
If the Guardian is bias against Americans then why is there various American women on the top 100 females list?
Most real soccer fans don't care where a player is from, they care about how they perform.

1. There is no anti american bias in England actually it isnquite the opposite. That argument could be used in ANY european country other than England.
2. Top 100 is already very friendly towards Pulisic. I say that as a Dortmund Fan.
the Premier League is the beste League right now with the best players and he didn’t make the cut there. He plays for Milan but isn’t their best player and that is in a season where Milan severly underperforms… where is the justification for putting him top Top 25 let alone Top 100.

The anti-American bias due to America's greatness argument is delusional Alexi. The U.S. men have won no major international tournaments. Most Western countries don't envy America. Most major countries have higher life expectancies, more vacation time, paid family leave, less inequality etc. I think there is an argument that Pulisic could be a bit higher–maybe in the Jonathan David range, but David has consistently scored for Lille since signing there years ago and he's literally the face of that team which always punches above their weight. Lille has no business winnning Ligue 1or beating top clubs in Champions League which they have done with David being their top striker.
So hold on if the rankings are dominated by uswnt then how can there be an anti American bias. Either there is or there isnt a bias . Make it make sense
