  1. These ratings are farcical, Mbappe gets an 8 whilst Messi and Di Maria get 10, Ale gave Julian Alvarez a 9. Itโ€™s end I got a 7, but Mbappe gets an 8? Is Ale smoking crack? Mbappe was playing as a 9 from 35 mins, he scored 3 goals, he did everything you want from an attacker.

The game doesnโ€™t finish at 70 mins Ale.

    South American bias

  2. I was surprised. Griezmann and the other key players got SHUT DOWN. Couldnโ€™t believe the desperation and instant substitutions. It was still amazing to see Mbappe to deliver for his team. Loved seeing Messi win his cup, but Mbappe was also a winner for me. Heโ€™s still extremely young and has a long career ahead of him to prove himself again

  3. I disagree, mbappe has to get a 9 as a minimum. Scored a hat trick and scored his penalty. If they won, i would have given him 10, but now only 9 because whatever mbappe did during the game, it still wasn't enough to win the game.
I think france, due to the way they kept on overcoming adversity during the game, deserved to win. Ultimately Argentina were lucky. But the history book will only say that Argentina won the world cup in qatar. Luck (magic) is the crucial ingredient needed for success.

  4. France in the first half was horrible to watch. They couldn't get out of their own half because the Argentinians were pressing them there. In comparison, when the Argentinians had the ball, the French hardly pressured them and sat back. And in the rare moments they pushed up, Argentina caught them out with that smooth silky counterattack that resulted in di Maria's goal. It was clear what Deschamp's solution was. Power, in both speed and strength. He put in bigger, faster and younger players despite their lack of international experience. No racist motive here, but I couldn't help but notice that the players that were subbed off were mostly white and the players that came on were black. You could see the difference in play. The Argentinians were hassled and their passing game wasn't as smooth. The French started using their speed and their size advantage as well. You saw how they scored the equalizing goal after Coman muscled Messi off the ball.

  5. Manager 5???I'm sorry what?weren't you pundits like No he shouldn't drop Giroud, if it ain't broke don't fix it, it's more on Mbappe to help defensively. But he starts Giroud, later he sees it clearly not working. He makes 2 subs that were clinical. And to be fair Upamecano played great, the strong tackles and recoveries he made were inspiring

  6. The argentine ratings being all 7s to 10s and the French all getting 3s to 8s is laughable when the game went to penalties. Funny how results impact how performances are judged rather than actually judging how the players played

  7. At the time He was subbed , Griezmann was still their best player on pitch along with mbappe Because nobody had done anything. Although The subs thing worked But If Griezmann was on pitch they could have advantage in pens and set pieces

  8. Don't know why Deschamps took off Griezmann. He's always the one to spark the attacks leading to goals or if not assisting a lot in big games in this tournament. Un-wise move for me, always have bad luck in terms of winning when Griezmann is subbed off or sometimes on the bench for the past couple years.

  9. It was obvious Griezmann was suffering from the flu, you can literally see how pale and hollow his face was before the game started.Giroud had sustained a serious knee injury against Morocco and was never going to start but DD pushed him.Get your facts right before posting sensational videos for cheap views.

  10. The problem is everyone thinks Europe has the best players when in the actual sense and history says south Americans are better….if you know the players because they are from a neighbouring country, doesn't mean they are better than the players you don't really watch….for example, you can't compare acuna and Luke shaw or any other English left back…that argentina midfield is better than most midfield and with more experience.look what what they did to likes of modric and griezman, absolutely dismantled them.

  11. scaloni has exposed how to stop mbappe, u just need to keep the ball on the opposite side of the pitch with good possession and a good left winger that way opposite team will find it hard to counter attack the ball to mbappe making his pace useless in any game , if they ddnt sub Di Maria it would have ended at 90 mins

  12. Mbappe an 8? LOL! He was the player of the match. He scored a hat trick, and followed that with a fourth goal in the penalty shootout. Sadly, the rest of the team did not match his intensity.

  13. Mbappe being 8 and Deschamps being 5 proves ESPN barely knows ball. The tactical changes saved France from a demolition, while Mbappe dragged the whole team into a penalty shootout.
