To all you wondering why some of these saves aren’t that impressive, it’s because all of the amazing ones are back in last season (WHERE HE WASNT INJURED MULTIPLE TIMES🤦♂️). Like seriously, this is amazing considering the amount of games he’s played. 2nd most clean sheets in the prem with this amount of games played is a miracle. And don’t come in with that “hE iS oVeRaTeD – tHe dEfEnCe iS tOo gOoD” because if so then how come Adrian doesn’t have more clean sheets than he does right now? Honestly, some of you can’t decide whether the defence is overrated because of the goalkeeper or the goalkeeper is overrated because of the defence. So quick to say any Liverpool player is overrated just because they play for Liverpool. Like the van dijk one season wonder thing. He is and already was the best defender for this season and last season.
Edit: I’m sorry it was really long and I went too deep it’s just you won’t believe the Liverpool haters that I’ve been through. Like they just think of a Liverpool player, watch one game of someone who plays in the same position and then automatically decide that they are better than the Liverpool player. And everyone will usually agree because Liverpool are the most hated club (especially right now). They call our fans toxic – some of us are – but we would only be toxic because you randomly decided to take the mick out of us and made us the “Banter Club”.
