Keane and Neville is why I tune in. The problem is that Manchester United have always been what they are now. Sir Alex needed time and then turned to his academy, adding pieces along the way. The same thing could be said of Liverpool after their decades of dominance ended. Sir Kenny was the catalyst for Liverpool in bringing in Henderson and Suarez. The spark Keane speaks of will come from someone like himself is given the managerial role and brings in a hungry young Irish, Scottish, English midfield player who he can personally mould.

Seeing United over the past decade, makes actually you realise, just how good the teams were that had Scholes, Beckham, Giggs, Keane, Cantona, Neville et al really were and just how difficult it is to follow in those legendary footsteps… no matter the size or history of the club. Keane said it, no amount of money can buy character, commitment and spine… you either have it in you or you need to find a way to show it.

They’re playing as poorly as Neville’s managerial career and as badly as Keane’s emotional intelligence. That’s pretty terrible on both parts. But they’re critics now. Those that can, do. That’s that can’t, complain….

Hard to believe how Neville doesn't understand he's harsher on the new manager than the old. There's been a clear improvement on the pitch and the result should follow but he's so negative now Ten Hag is actually gone.
How is it so hard to believe!? Since 2013 Man Utd haven't looked remotely close to winning the league and a lot of one-off performances or favourable cup runs have covered over a lot of consistent poor performances. They've over-achieved in a few season just based on there performances alone.
