There are barely any top strikers now. I don’t think any defender is as good as defenders from the past. Same with strikers and midfielders. All the positions infact. Players just aren’t as good anymore. There are way less standout players.
I'm an Arsenal fan but Gabriel and Saliba are nowhere near the likes of Dias, Varane or Campbell. A treble winner, a WC and multiple CL winner and a player with 2 PL titles. Saliba and Gabriel are great but cannot be in that group until they win multiple trophies
