I think it's important to note the reason why Mbappe is suddenly missing all these penalties recently. When he first came to Madrid, he was clearly acclimating to the new environment around him, so we didn't see the PSG Mbappe again, but now, he's probably hearing everybody saying all this utterly demoralizing stuff about him, and it ruins him, destroying his confidence. But thats how us Madrid fans always are, we have a problem with abusing our players, and benching him will do him no good. It's almost like we WANT him to turn into a Hazard or a Bale. We even booed Cristiano, but Mourinho and Ancelotti never benched him, allowing him to boost his form and, we all know what came next.
