      Carra you dumb fick…they couldn't do it because Chelsea players are supreme in that league…that was yhe plan and the plan is coming through…you sht yourself whats coming… Chelsea again is breaking the system…

      The hysteria over the last few years to a Tottenham loss is always twice what it is when £billion spending Chelsea or Villa or Newcastle lose. Problem is the press and media get on every manager’s back and hound them out the club. Happened to Poch, Conte, Redknapp, now Ange.

      Ange doing the biggest rebuild at the club in 15 years AT LEAST. New GK, new CBs, new full backs, new midfield and only Son left over from the forwards. Then most of these NEW players are now unavailable. Arteta given time and patience – Ange should be supported through this too.

      Why do the media act like Spurs losing, suffering a poor run of results and/or having a mediocre season is unprecedented and a sign that something is seriously wrong?

      They haven't been "great" since Bill Nicholson was in charge over 60 years ago. To be able to remember this you'd have to be born just after the war at the latest.

      I can understand why United's travails or Liverpool's pre-Klopp was a major story, because we are talking about two genuine giants in the doldrums who have/had fallen from grace. Spurs haven't fallen from anything, nor are they underachieving. They have been at this sort of level for most of their modern history.

      I honestly think this is part of their problem. The media, the owner and the fans put them on a pedestal and hold them to standards they simply are not at. There are only four trophies on offer every season and Spurs are competing with either bigger or richer clubs for them. The sooner everyone realises this the better.

      Totenham is such a sad place where the ceiling is confused with the floor. This is a football club, not a business company. First of all, a football club plays for trophies, not for earnings for its owners. Unless it is a club without ambition.

      Strangely, Carra actually spoke sense for a change, but what is the deal with getting Merson in the studio for this game? He's not Chelsea and he's not Spurs. Anytime he opens that mouth of his, all he ever does is slag Spurs off. I thought pundits were supposed to be impartial.

      Levy built a great club and a very average team. It is really rare in sports that the person who creates an elite club can also build an elite team. They require very different skillsets and focuses. For Spurs to have the business they do for the extended lack of success they have had is incredible. And shows that the businessman that Levy is, is elite. But the continual swinging door of managers, the lack of continued success via academy, the lack of any success on the pitch, shows that he doesn't know how to build a successful team.
      Most really successful clubs don't have the one person doing both. Ferguson, Pep, etc. they were left to build a great team, they didn't have businessmen interfering with that.

      The day Poch got the sack was the day Spurs became irrelevant again. He was their man to take them forward – coming from a Liverpool supporter.

      mourinho and conte rants about spurs tell you everything you need to know,these two guys know what it is to win they had won almost every club trophy if i am not mistaken and they found themselves in a club where being 6th at the season knocked out of all cups by january is not a problem and you are in trouble once player decide to down tools and force you out because you dont get along with some of the leaders,but then once every decade when spurs have a player who is rumoured to join psg bayern real and so on there levy pretends acting like a big club but playing strong hardball to let the player go,or milk the homegrown affective factor like with kane without every giving him a proper team to fight with
