USMNT Breakdown – Goalkeepers
The USMNT is getting better and better each day! With so many new prospects bursting onto the scene, it is very hard to keep track of all of them. That is why we made this series! Each week well do an in depth analysis and breakdown of eac position on the USMNT! This week went through the USA goalkeepers, and what the depth looks like in that position. As we all know, Zach Steffen is the clear #1, but Matthew Turner, Ethan Horvath, and David Ochoa could all fight for that back up position!

  1. Just woke up and this is what I immediately see so I knew I had to click. Good content and here’s to a great generation of keepers coming through the ranks. Zach Steffen is clear #1 and horvath and turner are tied at #2. If the US does not take Sean Johnson or a veteran goalie to 2022 we can bet on both hot bath and turner being there which is stellar as they can both back up Steffen really well

  2. I wouldn't exactly say that young stars are breaking out left and right, but the MLS academies are certainly churning out some young prospects.

  3. hey benchkings i remembered that you said that if you didn’t put a goal keeper that could also be considered is because you forgot, so i wanted to tell you also chituru ondunze who’s at leicester city u18 i believe

  4. Came here to mention Chituru Odunze, saw that he was already covered. But if he can't even make a "deep cuts of youth prospects" list, that's pretty tough for him. But he's 18 and training with the first-team for a top EPL club. So I hope we cap-tie him soon because our national GK depth is as thin as it's been since the dark ages of the team, pre-90s.
