During today’s press conference, Rangers manager Michael Beale states that Jose Cifuentes ‘ready to go’ and the Ecuadorian is set for his Gers debut.

The new signing will be in from the start as Rangers take on Livingston at Ibrox tomorrow.

Rangers manager Michael Beale spoke at length about Jose Cifuentes: “He’s a prime example. he didn’t get in until late the Thursday before. A bit jetlagged, but I wanted him on the bench just to see Scottish football. There were eight subs, so just get him in there so he can understand the environment. Still only moved into his new place the last couple of days, He was in and out of a hotel. I thought he was quite good when he came on the other night in a small glimpse. But now I think he’s ready. He’s been playing since January. He knows his teammates. Only such a small language barrier because he speaks decent enough English and he’s ready to go now and I’m looking forward to watching him tomorrow.”
