I think many fans think Berhalter is in a lot more hot water than the USSF does. National teams are much more defined by the players than the coach anyway. And honestly the Panama game was much less his fault than the red card. That said, there hasn't really been much forward progress. On some level this just isn't working. I wouldn't mind and change.

November 27, 2023, seven games ago, Sergino Dest lost his mental composure costing USMNT a loss vs Trinidad and Tobago. Tim Weah's red card cost the USMNT the game and possibly degrouped us out of Copa America. Since that time USMNT Gregg Berhalter's record is 3 wins, 4 losses, and 1 tie. The question we need to ask ourselves as fans are whether we are better off last year with Gregg Berhalter?
Who the heck hired Crocker as our sporting director? Crocker took Southampton down to being relegated with his moves – SH was removing Crocker and we hire him. Crocker brings back Berhalterā¦..after talking with Pulisic, McKennie, and Adams. Red flag!
Ralph Rangnick, a great coach, was available after Qatar! Crocker didnāt even fly to Germany to interview Ralph! Red flag.
Ralph is not available right now – he has Austria playing very well in the Euro 2024ās and advancing to round of 16!

belhalter needs to go. same tactics, same players (FOR A LONG TIME) with the same erratic and inconsistent results. lack imagination to try other players ( needs to give chance others on the positions of Antonne Robinson and Joe Scally). Try other young and upcoming players (why stick to the same faces when results does not improve).
This squad is just seeking the same level. If they are not playing a clearly struggling Mexico they just perform at about 75% of the capability. My suggestion: hire a Manager who understands the man management aspect of the game as their strongest asset. If not this generation will be lost in mediocracy and failure to push the envelope. Too much togetherness is not such a good thing when you are in a fox hole and no one wants anyone to be sacrificed. Tactics? Anyone who has experience can implement them before match and at halftime. Other then that it is 11 guys on the field and very little can be done except substitutions. It is the only sport in the world where you canāt call time out and adjust. The correct attitude has to be instilled before players take the field. Clearly this is number 1 weakest point as a manager. He would make a good technical director but a heat of the battle leader he will never be.Move on USSF and bring in a man manager of proven quality in that regard who can communicate in English……

The federation gave us BJ Callahan for a bit and it gave me HOPE. The players looked very polished and were in the right roles they are best in.. but Nepo baby GGG needs to go. If he doesn't, then I'll probably spend time following Canada or something…
