Luke Shaw has suffered a new injury and confirmed it with a statement on Instagram, saying how devastated he is.
I don’t for one second think Shaw isn’t working, isn’t grinding, isn’t putting the effort in to return to fitness but there is an honest reality we need to discuss about Shaw and his future as a Manchester United player.

i would like Shaw to stay in the club in some capacity, whether that be a player coach while he does his badges. But if he wants to continue at this level, he will need to move on, but I can't see anyone taking the risk on him
Players who are injured long term should be placed on 5k per week sick leave. That is still an enormous wage and is more then 95% of us will ever earn. The contracts are too far tilted in favour of the players. Football has been ruined.
Should be a clause on contracts around injuries..
Any other business doesn’t work the same.

When i said eth has screwed us most of our fans did not see it. Eth should not have given bruno rashford dalot or luke shaw new contracts.
When have you ever seen us sell players? This renewing contracts to protect the value just doesnt work at man united. Highest price we sold a player for the past 10years is dan james for 25mil ffs.

I hate how our fans are attacking him as if he prefers being injured. He can’t control how his body reacts. Some people have bad genetics or luck. Put the blame on Man Utd for not having had gotten a quality LB as his competition even b4 he was injured. The best clubs in the world usually have 2 good players for every position. I actually feel bad for him because he’s been class when he came on the last 2 games. Don’t hate on him, put the onus on the club.

When he swanned off to the euros..played 3 games for England having been injured all season for Utd then returns back to the club that pays his salary injured for the start off the new season …shocking …Fergie would have moved him on or made him aware that you’ll never play for Utd ever again!!!!

Sucks for Shaw to be dealing again with another injury because when he is 100% he can do the job. Maybe this year needs to be his last for Utd as from a club pov we can't keep having an injury prone player on the books.
