I was expecting this result from the Toon game. This game sums up team J-Lo's coaching failures in terms of mental toughness, tactical indiscipline, and physical bereftness. Piss-poor prep equals piss-poor results!
Don't agree what you said about their fifth goal. Surely if he contacts the ball first, the attacker jumping in the same space is his risk. Whether I'm technically wrong on modern day rules, it just doesn't feel right with me.
Agree, we need much better coaching and drilling at set pieces both ends. Also think Fabianski and Areola are not good at coming for crosses. End of day, whole approach to game was poor, not enough fight, timid approach, A tired Antonio spending too much time left defence and not doing an effective job at holding the ball up centrally. All the positives from Newcastle evaporated within 30 minutes.
Why must we insist on playing Paqueta? It's starting to really vex me! š He played well against Newcastle generally, but he hasn't been the same for well over a year. With the Brazilian hearing this week, clearly he shouldn't have been played. His focus is NOT on our match. Alvarez was available. Irving even. Orford should be on the bench. He needs to be dropped…he causes so many errors which lead to pressure or goals.
Good work lads
Paquetta reminds me of Masuaku
For every goal he makes he conseeds 2 or 3.
Great analysis! Only a matter of time until your channel gets more subscribers, keep up the great work lads!
