Gilbert Arenas has a strong message for Brooklyn Nets General Manager Sean Marks ahead of the upcoming NBA draft. The former NBA star believes that selecting Cooper Flagg with the number one pick could be a grave mistake, and he’s not holding back in his assessment of the young prospect’s potential. With the Nets looking to rebuild and return to prominence, Marks’ decision will have a significant impact on the team’s future. Arenas, known for his unfiltered opinions, is not convinced that Flagg has what it takes to lead the Nets back to contention, and he’s warning Marks to think carefully before making his choice. Will Marks heed Arenas’ warning, or will he stick to his guns and draft Flagg despite the criticism? The NBA world is waiting with bated breath to find out. The Nets’ offseason plans, rebuild strategies, and future prospects all hang in the balance.

Who u
๐คฆ No one is saying Cooper is a 40pt per night player. His value is, he is the best kid coming through with the highest levels of multi dimensional skills. For me, I don't care what order he gets picked, he's the most valuable piece in the draft for the simple reason of this… Who is in the league atm that does everything very, to exceptionally, well? No just one thing. Not two. Everything. Jordi's gameplan, and I'd argue the overall NBA direction, is one where it doesn't revolve around One, Two stars. That philosophy is becoming more and more antiquated. Give me 8-10 players that are great at the things their size/position dictates but ALSO very good+ at other attributes and you instantly become a title contender for as long as you stick with that plan.
Brooklyn will be fortunate to draft either Cooper Flagg Ace Bailey or Dylan Harper ๐ฅ….
All three of them possess skillsets that can help take Brooklyn's future to another level and Brooklyn needs to utilize the draft to the fullest extent to build up their core ๐.
Dylan Harper has definitely made quite impression so far not only being a high level IQ point guard but has been creating his own buckets at an exceptional clip ๐ฅ and not to mention out of the top 5 prospects he weighs the most at 215 ๐ช pounds ๐ฎ….
Harper is definitely game ready and could be a perfect extension of coach Jordi's program and could form a solid complimentary duo with Cam Thomas ๐ฅ….
Harper is definitely leading the pack in different categories and could definitely be the point guard of Brooklyn's future if he's selected with the third pick ๐.
Ace Bailey surprisingly out of Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper might have the rawest skillset and has had to adjust a bit this season to figure out his scoring rhythm ๐ฎ….
But recently Ace has put together some much better performances and if Brooklyn drafts Ace coach Jordi could definitely transform and refine Bailey's skillset to make him a true 5 tool star player ๐ฅ….
Not to mention an Ace and Thomas duo on offense could be scary as well ๐….
Cooper Flagg is a hybrid player that possesses skillsets at the guard forward and big positions on the court ๐ฅ. His best asset is his quick lateral defense rebounding and shot blocking skills ๐. Offensively he's shown he can make midrange buckets, knock down threes, dunk, and finish athletically at the rim ๐ฅ….
Cooper Flagg would be a good complimentary piece to Cam Thomas and can handle the tough defensive assignments that Thomas can't handle and can play a facilitating role to help Thomas get even more shot attempts at an efficient level ๐ฅ….
The Nets will ruin him and he will be traded within 4 years. Nets canโt develop players and keep them.
The Brandon Ingram disrespect is crazy
Cooper Flagg is Heโs Andrei Kirilenko at best
What's the point of having a topic of discussion when it just leads to Cam Thomas? Even when he's injured yall still find a way to spend hours on end bashing him. These Streams might end if Cam is no longer on the team because who else will yall discuss?
