Im a Feyenoord fan i've seen Slot here for 3 years and the years before he came to us. and now his start at liverpool. he is really a special trainer.
Slot has done more in 5 minutes at Liverpool than Arteta has done in 5 years.

Before the start of the season. Liverpool will play for 4th place. Liverpool need new signings. Then during the season: Liverpool had a east schedule and they haven't played against good opponents. Liverpool didn't sign enough new players. And now look at what they are saying. Slot inherrit a good team.

Slot and I would say even Amorim have brought a more european style to both respective teams. They seem to value control of tempo, not always gunning forward, expending energy and creating an open game, they value more taking your moments to have a rest as a team whilst in possession, both have actually expressly said this in interviews etc Pep has always been like this, he's just been exposed by the one thing that could derail their season and that's Rodri getting injured for the season. It's a surprise they never had any clear like for like back up. They got away with giving him a rest against lesser teams by playing them off the park with technical players in the middle in previous seasons.

Considering he had daunting job of replacing klopp and the board never backed him in the summer, these results are remarkable!
I agree with the pundits on the differences between Slot and Klopp. Another point maybe that Slot deals the rotation a little bit better than Klopp, especially on the left side with Robertson and Tsimikas. But sure both trainer are excellent and for LFC simply a perfect fit.
One part of AS great success is that he took over one of the best teams in Europe. His style is very close to JK and the players did not have to adopt to a very different style of playing. This win was very much reminiscent of JK but with the AS influence. Its as if AS is tweeking and developing JK with his own.
