Yes it was a pen in my opinion as an ipswich fan. But the way he went down was laughable, jota went down like this all game, neither of the 2 other penalty shouts were penalties though and were good calls. Certainly don't think we deserved the win, but I dont think forest did either. The fact it was only won on a penalty still shows ipswich can hold their own.

What am I missing in the highlights that people in these comments have seen?! Town fan here. Szmodics kicks Jota’s foot – it’s a penalty. Jota embarrasses himself by then trying to hold his knee/thigh, but it’s still a penalty for the first foul. Equally the one at the end Cajuste on Wood you can see him kick the ball. Should have been a corner (if it wasn’t) but it’s also clearly not a penalty.
Still amazed Chris Wood is this good in the Prem. I recall him being dreadful in his stint at Portman Road. Ho hum!
