When a team has a 3-0 lead, at home, late in a Champions League game and on the back of an unprecedented 5 game losing streak, there is no way that they have enough confidence, willingness or fight to do what is needed to win at Anfield. That they capitulated the way they did in front of their home fans, in such a major tournament fixture is, quite frankly, unforgivable. They believed the game was over and just waited out the clock. They hadn't learned their lessons from the previous 5 loses in a row and are now filled to the brim with self-doubt. So long as they continue to play with fire, deep in the own end, and are afraid to engage in physical duels the way other teams are doing, I expect a whooping of epic proportions at the hands of Liverpool. Even, if by a miracle, City draw or even somehow win, the rest of the season lies before them. For the season is long . . . and full of terrors.

No way Liverpool wins this game. The PL doesn’t want LFC running away with this thing 11 points ahead – that is not smart business for the league. The ref, the VAR, and the PGMOL games manipulators will get to work. I am betting on MC being awarded a penalty this game. Also betting on LFC getting a red card. LFC is the favorite to win the game but the bookies will make a lot of money at the end.
