It’s rare that a program can lose two nationally ranked seniors to graduation among others with D1 commitments and still be nationally ranked #4, but it’s not surprising at all considering the return of Jamier Jones and Jalen Reece, both ESPN Top 60 players who will lead the Pioneers in perhaps the most highly anticipated contest of the Metro vs. Florida Challenge.
Oviedo is poised to build on an impressive 2023-24 campaign. Ranked as high as #9 in the state at one point, Oviedo established itself as one of the top programs in Florida. Despite losing four key starters, the team returns a solid core, led by their lone returning starter and leadingn scorer Cameron Bryant (LMU). Ethan Diaz and Dominic Tejada will provide both depth and experience.
