why do the refs forget to send the Chelsea players off when they are last man? Newcastle had Bruno G taken out just outside the penalty area by a foot, was clean through. Not even a card just like this. Strange. Seems the refs forget to give the cards by the letter of the law

This league is an absolute disgrace. All technical players are punished by dirty tackles with intent to cause extreme damage cos the inept opponents simply cannot find any way to defend properly and the referees enable it. Hazard career was done so early cos of this, Ronaldo de Lima the same and now Palmer has become a target cos he embarasses those playing against him and they want him injured. This league and the refs should be sued for lack of safeguarding players welfare!!!

I actually do not think it was a red card simply because the foot he catches Palmer with is not the tackling foot. He is trying to get the ball with his left foot and in planting his right foot to make the tackle he stands on Palmers right foot. Yes its painful and yes it looks bad in slow motion and if that was the foot he was trying to tackle with then its a stonewall red.
I think seeing that he was just planting that foot to lunge in with his left foot saves him. I just think it was a really unfortunate situation and luckily no injury occurred. I am fed up with 11 v 10 games because we dont allow contact anymore lets change it and stop demanding red cards everytime someone gets hurt.

Leicester fan here. I was at this game. One of the worst refereeing displays ive ever seen. Ndidi's tackle is a red card, we all knew it but it took VAR about 5 minutes to stick with a yellow? Also the Fofana tackle on Mavididi is a foul, yes Stephy changes direction quickly and runs into him but Fofana at the very last second straightens his left leg to block the run, its a kneee jerk reaction but it still blocks him. Also, right before Chelsea's 2nd, Justin gets fouled and goes down injured right in front of the linesman but nothing given, Chelsea then counter and capitalise down the side that Justin has left open…
Chelsea were the better team and we never expected to win but this constant mistakes/rules bent is making the game so boring. Ive been going to watch Leicester play since i was 10 and i have never heard the crowd chant "premier league corrupt". Something has to change before people really do something.
