I'm sorry but people saying that Man Utd's goal was a result of Amorim's tactics are in cloud cuckoo land. A player running 150 yards and dodging two tackles is not a tactic. If you can look at a goal and confidently say that a team will consistently score similar goals then its tactics. This clearly wasn't.

The way he breaks down tactics with such clarity shows he has a deep understanding of the game. Carragher should seriously consider stepping into management one day it’s clear he has the football IQ to succeed on the touchline!
Say what you want about Carragher but his analysis and insight is always brilliant, easily the best pundit in the country
He will not last with these tactics. Ipswich battered UTD if it was Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, liverpool it would have been a 5-1.

The biggest thing Amorim wants from his players is high intensity. When he first joined Sporting, he wasn't afraid to drop the players who were fan favourites but could not handle the intensity needed to play his system. Players like Fernandes, Mount, Ugarte and Martinez will thrive in this system. While the likes of Casemiro, Eriksen, Zirkzee and Rashford won't last very long
