  1. We best ban @SamHeungMin golf channel who is marketing his youtube on being Korean and looking the spitting image, after all he must be deeply offended!!

  2. Why does the club have to suffer? Why can't the punishment be that the player can play the games but fined all monies due from the games including bonuses(in this case 6 games)?

  3. In this country we don’t tolerate racism as much as other countries which is something we should be proud of. Unlike Argentina with the Enzo Fernandez situation, the Argentine FA didn’t care and people were looking at Chelsea to do something about it. If England players did something similar the clubs wouldn’t have to do a thing as the FA would totally throw the book at them.

  4. Man I'd love to have Son at United, he's absolute class on and off the pitch, even when he's not playing well he still gets goals and assists. Love the guy, can't believe teams never go in for him.

  5. How are we calling racial stereotyping clumsy language? I find that opinion crazy, sad that nobody stood up to Simon on this. Call it for what it is. I heard Simon being openly transphobic the other day. It’s one thing saying trans people shouldn’t be competing unfairly in gendered sports, but saying it’s silly that they exist in the first place is open bigotry. I’m starting to understand who Simon really is deep down, underneath the charm that made me respect him for so long. And once again shame on Jim white, expected better from him.

  6. Simon Jordon is 100% right. Also the apparent victim 'Son' is being punished by his teammate being banned. Keown a typical snowflake, sees his chance to get on the side of the broadcasters as he's a shockingly poor pundit a downright embarrassment and a laughing stock of a man.

  7. I'm Uruguayan and saw this on the news. So I believe I'm quqlified to explain it. What happened was that Bentancur was having an interview for a Uruguayan soccer TV peogram in which he recalled a previous instance (back when he had only been 2 maybe less than 3 months playing for the Spurs) where he was asked by a Uruguyan reporter during a personal talk (like what one would call the backstage after the formal program ended where you can see bloopers and bits removed for the program) if he felt out of place for being a foreigner and not speaking a lick of English snd Benta said that there was also Son who is Asian to which the reporter said 'but if you know an Asian you kown all of them" and Rodrigo went silent looking puzzled so the reporter winked at him and then Bentancur understood whst he meant and to not look like an opie (because this reporter is forced commedian thst lieks to chastize people allegedly "in good fun") acted as if he got in on the joke and say "You said it not me" and looked kind of to the side as if implying in tongut in cheek that he didn't do anything and then they laughed and then he said "But Sonny is great but sensitive so don't let him know that" and the reporter slowed down his laugh and said "yeah and you can get in trouble if you say these stuff in England" and then Rodrigo "You do?" and the reporter remembered the whole Cavani issue and they moved on. More than a year went by. So the other day on the news another reporter asked Rodrigo to recall the incident and he did and that's how it got on the news and caught up by English media.

Now as for anyone that might be interested on what do I think 'bout this whole thing? Well due to how different our culture is I do think English law is wrong in this regard as we Uruguayans tend to not police words but rather actions or if anything the intent or the context in which such words were said. So I think that Cavani is ABSOLUTELY BLAMELESS for what he was accused of because it was a word in Spanish to teal/olive skinned Uruguayan friend whose nickname is that very same word. Bentancur did a follow up the reporters remarks to appear to not look slow witted so it didn't really come from him BUT he did reply on his own and I believe the proper English terminology is "he walked right into that one" and so he has himself to blame for it. With that said, even considering English law I do think 7 games for this is a little excessive, 2 or 3 games maybe up to 5 would be fair but 7 is judt too much in this particular case.

  8. Aral Simsir only got a warning from uefa after he shouted ā€œfree Palenstinaā€ and ā€œi hope you dieā€ after his danish side Midtjylland played Tel Aviv team in Europe – take a look at that !!

  9. There was no malice and apology accepted. Would he be suspended if he played in Italy or Spain? Probably not. I doubt he will ever play in a woke league once his contract is over.
