In the wake of famous athletes like Nick Bosa, Jon Jones, Christian Pulisic, and others honoring Donald Trump by celebrating using his signature cringe dance moves, legendary US soccer goalkeeper Tim Howard penned a column for the Daily Mail slamming the athletes who think the dance isn’t inherently political. Rick Strom breaks it down. Give us your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. Muhammad Ali was about as political as you could possibly get and we don't look back at that as a bad thing. I agree, just own what you're dishing out.

  2. Tim Howard is awesome. Thank you for this piece and keep it up. I was not aware of #10 being a dufus in this area and now further bummed. I am not sure CP is still Captain

  3. At first I was completely turned off by Pulisic's Trump dance. But then I realized that I would do it as a goof and ridicule. And then I thought that if I did it, I would make sure that I expressed that i did it to make fun of Trump. When Pulisic didn't take the opportunity to say that he was making fun Trump, I ended up back at the beginning, being disgusted.

  4. I wonder how many people were like myself and went from watching him score and immediately shutting off my tv and now I’m not a fan anymore. I only recently started watching so no biggie, loser. F u

  5. Ngl this is an L take by TYT Sports. Its just a dance. Get over it. I dont like Trump one bit but if you all are going to lose your minds over a dance then you all need to get help.

  6. The first time around, Trump was considered cool to mostly old people.
To me, that was understandable. But now, he is becoming cool to young people. This is a bad omen for our nation.
First, the election of Obama angered whites. Then came the George Floyd riots along with Colin K.
Now, the George Floyd incident has become a white person litmus test. White people are beginning to demand to know what side of the fence their neighbors are on. The litmus test has become, are you pro Trump or are you Woke.
This is my world now. I must accept that and move on.
In the end, I'm just a white guy who doesn't mind a black president. I'm just a white guy who doesn't want police showing obvious disregard for human dignity. Stop labeling one another!
This soccer player may be telling the truth. Politics may not mean that much to him. He may just think Trump is cool. People will vote for someone they consider to be cool. That's why Obama won 2x.

  7. Being a portuguese americanninlauhj at this.

Pulisic wouldn't even get on the pitch for portugal.

    He's behind about 6 attackers.

    Portugal has 10 million people.

That shows you how great pulisic is

  8. The kneewling. The black lives matter on the helmets. Yep, sports are played by people who are naturally political. Rapinoe is a loud leftist. So what if pulisic might be a conservative. Who cares. Its america, we allow pur athletes to express their thoughts

  9. Its annoying that he did it but I can see how someone who lived in Europe since he was 13 may not appreciate the political context of a dance he saw on tic tok. He’s a footballer, not a scholar. Lets not beat him up too much—I am sure he learned a lesson by now since this story is everywhere on social media.

  10. Take the word “sports” out of your channel name. All your videos are about politics and/or drama. You don’t know a thing about Football. Stay in your lane. Wish I didn’t click on this. Let’s talk about Pochettino. You don’t know anything about Tim Howard. We lost that game vs Belgium idiot.

  11. One small correction and an unrelated, more important point. The Jamaica games (a two-leg aggregate contest) were a quarterfinal, not a semifinal. 2nd, Mr. Trump has called for an end to birthright citizenship. One of Pulisic's teammates at both Milan and the national team is Yunah Musah. Musah’s parents are both Ghanaian. He is a U.S. citizen and eligible for the U.S. national team only because his mother was visiting relatives in the U.S. when he was born. If Trump’s desired constitutional amendment ever becomes law, players like Musah will be ineligible for national team consideration.

  12. Thank you Tim Howard. No one is that naive or stupid to think one doesn't know exactly what the dance meant. These are the guys who wear "No Room for Racism" on their sleeves. Just more hypocrisy. Think about what mimicking that dance means to the women who were assaulted, handicapped who are mimicked or a "president to be" who mimics a blow job in front of the nation or someone who screws every business partner they ever had — and I could go on. Their choice….it's a free nation. Yeah, it's a cute little dance. Let the boys have their fun. Right?

  13. trump announces he's going to pardon J6 attackers… who were storming the capitol and fighting against the police. Trump said that the stock market is going to tank if Biden wins. For people to still vote for trump is sad for our country. Red lines that trump crosses are too numerous to list, trump is a dark stain in our history.

  14. The men's team sucks, it always has. Look at the caliber of the teams they win and lose to…they cannot compete against the Brazil's or England or Germany or the Netherlands, poles, swedes, French, Nigerians, Japanese.
They might win on a good day with a gentle southern wind on a Monday against teams like Haiti, Nicaragua, vietnamese, or Jamaica. Teams wildly underfunded and sporadic.

I won't lose sleep not following a team that respects neither I or my daughter. Emulate and celebrate a rap**t, you can f off.
