  1. I demand more from both Casemiro and Rashford, I really want them to succeed and possible training extra may help stay in shape and show a positive attitude towards the new manager.

However, they are adults and they can determine what’s best for them. A holiday may well be important to them right now, Gary Neville never played during social media and all this criticism will take a toll. I say enjoy your holiday lads, however come back and give it your all. Good luck boys 👺❤️

  2. Grealish crashed his car while driving drunk, and I haven't heard much from Gary on the matter. As a UTD fan, I want Rashford gone; his behaviour is shocking. However, I can't help but see Gary as a hypocrite in this situation.

  3. Marcus rashford is overrated and Manchester United wasted all these years by keeping him in the club. Casemiro is overrated as well. The trophies he won at Real Madrid was because of referees. He didn't done anything special. He had commited many fouls when he played for Real Madrid, but he escaped without getting red cards is because of the referees.

  4. International breaks are not Christmas holidays, that you are going to enjoy yourself. International break is a period where u play matches for your country. And if you are not playing, you train especially when you are a liability to the club.

  5. Very well said Garry!! If times and circumstances with conditions were at all different then the players had full rights to do this BUT NOT when you are 13th in the league, a new Manager in and you are in best well known team in the world. This not time to show lack of interest. Well of course if any of them had the chance to ask first!!!

  6. Wow.. They can do whatever they like during a break Gary. Should they be training 24/7/365? I mean sure you could question going all the way to the US perhaps question the travel time and what that could do to their fitness HOWEVER it's a break away from work for a short while with friends and family. Folks are just looking for a story at this point.

I'm not saying that we are going to now get the best out of Rashford and Casemiro but this time spent away could turn out to be beneficial for them mentally. If this was between games or they skipped training to go to the US waaay different story.

  7. Gary Neville is a reason, admittedly a small one, why United players have struggled. He criticises them relentlessly during games, and even their choices during an international break Take a chill pill, Gary. Stop the cheerleading for the most venomous so-called fans in the United base.

Treat United players when commentating just like you do the players of any other team. Be measured. Like Ally McCoist, who brings insight to the audience but never seeks to destroy the players he watches. Quicker to praise than be negative.

Even Carragher is more balanced towards United players than Gary Neville. Now, that’s saying something!

  8. Anyone watching that episode of The Overlap would know that the rest of the panel which includes Keane and Scholes, accepts that its normal for players of this generation to spend time off.. If Keane said its ok, bearing in mind that he was the most demanding of the United captains, then who is Neville to question what Rashford and Casemiro does in their private times.

  9. I'll cut Casemiro some slack for a family vacation to visit the Mouse but wonder how many NYC tequila bars Rashford visited after leaving MSG?

  10. Gary, Gary, Gary. Time to grow up fella. You’re like a kid telling stories out of school. “Please miss, Tommy Tucker spent his dinner money at the toffee shop.” I’ve been a Man. Utd. supporter for most of my 78 yrs. on this earth. Had a few beers with Georgie in my time. Also Norman and the Law Man. It’s hard to have a private life when you’re in the spotlight all the time. I’m sure you must have wanted to get away from Sir Alex at some time.🤭. Give the guys a break, they’re on their own time., or is there a little jealousy creeping in?

  11. Stiffness from being on the plane!!!! They'll be on a bed in first class where they could probably get a massage from a flight attendant during the flight! It's New York, not New Zealand for christs sake!
