The judging was horrible but I did have Duarte winning. There really should be a term in boxing when a fighter gets crooked judging in his favor when he doesn't need it as the term robbery really isn't appropriate here.
Not a robbery, just a really close fight. It could have gone either way.

From what I see, Duarte had better points in a championship round, or effective punches but never advantages of it because of limited gas to accelerate, he could have knocked him out if he had the energy.
I missed this fight live. Two pugilists that fought in a telephone booth. I gave both men a lot of credit.
Duarte receiving the decision is ok in my book. He had a home with that left hook all night.

I would've called it a draw. Akhmedov controlled the first half but duarte took over in the second not getting a knockdown or dazing shot from either party to solidify their performance i had to score it a draw because they were on par with each other but if closing it out strong is what the judges were looking for then they got it from duarte.
97-93? These judges are nuts. I had Akhmedov by a round or 2. But it’s Latino night so what do you expect..
