Estados Unidos consiguió una victoria por 1-0 sobre Jamaica en el partido de ida de cuartos de final en la Liga A de la Liga de Naciones Concacaf 2024/25 el jueves en el Estadio Nacional de Kingston, Jamaica.
Ricardo Pepi puso a los actuales campeones de la Liga de Naciones en ventaja al 5’ con un disparo que pegó en el poste izquierdo. Christian Pulisic proporcionó la asistencia con un pase filtrado detrás de la defensa jamaicana.
Shamar Nicholson provocó una falta en el área por parte del portero estadounidense Matt Turner al 12’ y ganó un tiro penal para los locales. Turner enmendó su error con una atajada para negarle el gol a Demarai Gray al 14’.
