The truth is it's not Ugbo,s fault we are not scoring. He is not helping by not scoring but it's not his fault. We can,t score for toffee. Why are we not starting Lowe, Patterson, or O,Neil. We need goals. Get goals on the board and maybe Ugbo will come good.
Was this not the sentiment with Malik Wilks to a degree,who is scoring at The Millers.Ugbo has got to start scoring soon, maybe to justify the fee that was paid for him and maybe also to get our owner to see that another delve into the striker market will not be in vain.
Regarding the fans who jump on the backs of any player that doesn't reach their expectations, that is the one thing I don't miss about having to stop visiting Hillsborough due to my bad health. His goals kept us in this division last season, ok so far this season he is misfiring but I'm with Danny on this one he is a quality player at this level, he is getting there he had no pre season. We're not providing the chances…….how can he produce? £3m on a forward is next to nothing. He was great last season. Ugbo is more than just goals. Look at his movement and work rate off the ball.
I also think that we should give Ugbo a chance because he has potential, but there is definitely a problem
We seem to always struggle in the striker department, I always feel as though it’s what separates us from those challenging for playoffs/promotion, it definitely isn’t the only factor though, our back line loses focus too often & our fullbacks are far too reluctant to cross the ball, as you mentioned which I’m glad about cause people aren’t speaking about it enough, I will say Michael smith should be our starting striker cause his influence & presence on the pitch is unreal

I like ugbo he just needs a goal and I keep starting him needs a good run of games but he needs to get sharper and finding space so he can get on the ball people say he not getting balls in box but we have but he not predicting that they will be a rebound he just looking at the ball . A striker got to just go for that ball even if he thinks keeper got it wawaw
