AC Milan‘s directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara continue to show interest in young talents and the latest name added to the list of the directors is Belgian forward Lois Openda, former teammate of Charles De Ketelaere at Club Brugge. Openda is currently playing for French side RC Lens.

The 22-year-old target Openda of AC Milan has a valid contract with Lens until June 2027. He has 7 goals registered to his name with his club in 15 league appearances.
On 18 May 2022 Openda was named to the squad for the four 2022–23 UEFA Nations League matches on 3, 8, 10 and 13 June 2022 against Netherlands, Poland (twice) and Wales respectively. Openda played again against Wales in the UEFA Nations League on 13 September 2022
