  1. No no and hell no! We just fired southgate jr why the hell would we want him? And I donโ€™t care if heโ€™s made it to the finals twice. His team is stacked.

  2. It is an embarrassment. Should have happened last year when they had Marsch on a platter. I think Jesse asks too much of his club squads but I think he's perfectly suited as a national team manager, already getting the most out of Canada in the Copa America. Say what you want about his time at Leeds but his players ran through a brick wall for him and didn't when he left. The US job is not attractive. Spoiled brats up and down the squad and you have to reside in Chicago… It stinks.

  3. Don't give this guy airtime for opinions, like spreading disinformation. A reporter providing analyses better done by coaches and former players. Good with the news terrible with analyses.

  4. I disagree we don't have the talent. Ninety-five percent of the players on USMNT play in the top five leagues in Europe. The problem is the coaching and unfortunately our horrible Federation that is strong handed by the MLS and Don Garber want an American coach. An American coach isn't good enough right now. We have some promise with Steve Cherolundolo but he isn't ready to take the position. If we get a good coach like Herve Renard, Pochettino or a Marcelo Bielsa, we could compete and make a long run at the 2026 World Cup. I would like to add the problem isn't just with the coach but also the management of the federation. However, that is going to take longer to fix.

  5. This guy is completely clueless. Players wives and kids getting threatened by violent drunk rival supporters and the players shouldnโ€™t defend them? US has to be better?

Itโ€™s a South American event run by their federation on US soil. All they had to do was give up the money for one corporate suite to put the families in a safe environment. Thatโ€™s not on the US. This sounds like he enjoys sitting face first under his wife while some other man gives her a pounding.

  6. Tell me you know nothing about the USMNT without telling me you know nothing about the USMNT. I agree with the Klopp issue, but if you don't ask the answer is always "No." Berhalter needed to go, the USMNT had no discipline or drive under his leadership. That said of everyone called up for the Copa, 3 were MLS players everyone else was Europe based. Do we need a better development league in the US? Yes. But the poor performances can't be blamed on having a piss-poor league, having a good league doesn't always translate to good performance with the national team.

  7. Who the F is this guy saying the US would love Southgate? F off ๐Ÿคก!

Berhalter and Southgate are one and the same, Southgate just has more โ€œaccomplishmentsโ€ because he has a much better player pool.

  8. Do you know that the starting line up for USA is all Europe based players? You are just a bunch of ignorant Englishmen talking about the poor quality of m ls without even knowing the actual player composition of th us team
