I am new to soccer but I know enough that the refs were a disgrace. If you want high quality players you should have high quality refs. Also Pulistic tried to shake their hands and they refused.

The US has had and still has great players. The problems aren’t individual talent it’s elsewhere. Coaches, development program, etc whatever it may be – we always underperform. Or, we perform decently well but the media and the clowns oversell and misrepresent the team.
Sebi and herc have no business as commentators they know next to nothing.

It's not necessarily a loser mentality, the USSF is just set up to fail because of it's structure. Changing the head coach will not make this a great team. A complete overhaul at leadership level and a fundamental change in the way youth is developed is needed. This problem will not be solved overnight.

One would think that with all the youth soccer that is played here, that the United States would be able to field a decent team. Instead we get beaten by teams with populations smaller than New York City. In all my 71 years, this country has not had one men’s team that could rival any other nation’s teams. Maybe it is time to give it up the idea that this country could become a soccer power. It is simply not going to happen. The United States men’s team is no better than a second rate nation in the sport at best.

The USMNT team needs to be defunded. They have been an embarrassment to our country for decades. They have never won anything. We all know that our best athletes don’t play soccer-football. Just how it is. I have been hearing for decades how much better our team is getting and things are turning around. They suck and always will.

The most important element to make a successful team is discipline. The reason why USMNT was successful in the 1990s was because of Bora Milutinović, disciplined coach. Dallas cowboys were successful because of Jimmy, again discipline. And the Patriots because of Belichick, again discipline! Lastly, SA Spurs with Popovich, discipline! When any organization allows a disciplined coach to coach without distraction, you'll have a successful team! We already have good individual players, but not a disciplined team. If the USSF hires and allows Jurgen Klopp to coach his team, USMNT can go further than any era before!

Kasey’s allegiance to his friend over the results of the USMNT is sad. He’s trying to downplay the ability of our players because the coaching has been poor. Could they pick different players and get better, of course but those are the player the coach wanted for Copa America and it didn’t produce results PLUS player drama in the past, it’s time to find a coach that it’s worth it and let them take control to bring out the best of the team, stop picking friendships over results! We are tired of the mediocrity.
