      Croatia already have midfileders legacy after Luka Modrić, Brozović, Perišić and Kovačić…

      They are Sučić, Majer, Brekalo, Zvonarek(17years old but Bayern already bought him)
      Rukavina (16 yeras old already clubs like Man City, Inter, Arsenal and others wants to biy him)

      Beljo (striker combination something like between of Mandzukic and Ibrahimovic)

      and minimum more at least 10 players which already prepare for U21 and in coming 3 to 5 years for national selection

      I know Seb is not gonna want to hear this but as Herculez correctly pointed out Pulisic would still be a bench player if he was playing for Croatia. I'm a Chelsea fan who has grown tired of Pulisic. He is not good enough to a consistent starter. He lacks that edge, gets pushed off the ball too easily in the EPL and is generally too passive.

      Modric, is the heart of this amazing Croatian team. To be always in the top and to be leader for years is not easy work. This guy deserves everything he's won so far. Absolutely giant in the modern football. Respect!!!

      Man of the match is mislav orsic not modric who had a great tournamet and he should be in best 11 with gvardiol and livakovic as the best goalkeeper. Croatia will miss modric once he retires, but majer and sucic will be heirs to kovacic and modric so no worries there.

      Pulisic chose right to play for America and be our star. A player like Rossi a few years ago could have been an American star but he chose to play for Italy instead and got used and thrown away by their national team. Only player I can think of that could have honestly succeeded playing for Croatia over their weaker country would be Zlatan Ibrahimović.

      Pulisich would probably be like Oršić a guy who would play as a substitute every game and he would probably have and impact.

      Btw we have a lot of talent in U21 but truth is a lot of those players will not succed and that's true, but we only need few to be succesfull and i am sure we will again have top class team.

      One of the added benefits of Croatia being so successful in football and having a large diaspora that always gave good players for our national team is that when there might be a question whether a good young football player with Croatian heritage will play for Croatia or a country they were born/raised in, chances are Croatia will be the first choice!
