Like szobo and salah can change positions in game, and they have different style of play
I noticed it in Spurs line up against Arsenal with Bentacur and Maddison in there as well. At that moment I knew the game was won already because all of this stuff only works when you are in possesion, not out of possesion. Kulusevski might be great on the ball but defensively you are leaving a massive gap in transition for the opposition.
Having an 8 than drifts wide to create overloads is not necessarily a new thing, but it is with players of this profile
Yeah any winger with a good ball carying ability is a contender for a CAM . trossard , Amad diallo , bernardo silva , kudus , olisé….
So basically they are needing 2 players to do the job of Arjen Robben. Makes me respect him even more.

KDB does this on both wings in the same game while still playing as the CAM
Ange had to use both because he got mediocre players. If he had Salah or Saka he wouldn't bother using two players with the same position
