Gregg Berhalter’s USMNT were absolutely humiliated by Colombia in DC losing 5-1 in a pre-Copa America friendly. Tim Weah scored the only goal for the US in a game where the entire team looked toothless, clueless and scared. Tac and I break it down.

I watched the whole match but I was at an event and only had the subtitles on and I missed the reason Pulisic was on a minutes restriction. Can someone explain what was going on there.
The Brazilian mic guy, is ashamed that the USA team can possibly loose to a Colombian team ? 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣 😂 😃 😀 😄 😁, 🇨🇴 🇨🇴 🇨🇴 🇨🇴, thanks for the laugh from a Colombiano.
USA left the trash concacaf bubble and met some actual dawgs. end of story
To put this into perspective we played a so so game for 75 minutes and stank up the last 15. And Colombia is a legitimate Copa contender. But all that is beside the point. Berhalter is a predictable, play-by-the-numbers coach who does not inspire either players or fans. He mismanged the WC, both on and off the field. And yes he did sweep Mexico in '21, but a declining Mexico. That was his zenith. After that, he finished third in the 2022 CONCACAF Octagonal, behind Mexico and Canada. This reign of mediocrity and oh-so-close losses has created this fantasy world of how the US is poised for greatness. Sports fans, nothing could be farther from the truth. Americas have no idea how far the disparity is between world class players and American players.
We lost to “Colombia” lmao not a World Cup contender, lmao they beat Germany and Spain and now spanked the US. Are only 3 points behind Argentina in Conmebol qualifiers, also haven’t lost in forever. Yeah Colombia is among the elite. lol what a dumbass take
We need a top class coach maybe from PL who has high demand of the players.
The friendly vs Japan in the runup to Qatar was pretty toothess. Quite a ways back was an awful in tournament performce vs Brazil in the 2009 Confed cup. In both instances the US bounced back to play better. I don't expect a postiive result vs Brazil but a better performance which they will carry into the tournament. Yesterday's match is for the history book which is where it belongs.

The first sign that Gregg shouldn’t have been rehired is that the PLAYERS wanted him back. Do players or humans in general want someone that pushes you all the time. The leadership should have eliminated Gregg as soon as the players said they wanted him back.
Watching the USMNT is like watching the most boring and stale TV show that doesn’t want to offend anyone. They play with zero intensity it seems they just don’t want to be there.
@tacticalmaangertv and @11yanks Do you think the players get disheartened since every stadium they play on American soil has more fans from the visitors (if from the Americas region) than US fans.
You guys watering down Colombia are going to get a wake up call. Keep it up…USMNT will lose 5-0 with that mentality to Brazil. This is a new CONMEBOL where even Venezuela is capable of beating Mexico and USMNT. Its absurd how people think different.
Shit happens, D Day is Copa America
USA jerseys were bad luck. They need to burn those jerseys and never wear political jerseys again.
I was there, Colombia played better than USA .
The two positives are Scally and Wright.
Colombia are one of the best teams in the world right now; this performance is in line with qualifying for Qatar on GD.
The U.S. needs 1st, a back line, a GK who organizes his defense so we don’t get blown out…a manager who starts the team on the front foot…our best players work in EU and respond well to EU styles of play e.g., Netherlands but Latin America, not the same and then to sit Pulisic in the 2nd half…the whole staff needs to go. From a U.S. ‘A’ licensed coach 🙏🏼⚽️❤
I’m glad they got beat liked that, they need to humble themselves and play with the underdog mentality that’s when the USA plays well, nobody cares if you play for AC Milan
Look at the bright side of 5-1…
Could have been 6-1 if the ball hit the post and gone in!!
No more praising talent until they start producing talented results. If GGG gets fired after Copa, it will take USSF another year to pick a new manager, giving us a short time to get it together for the WC
Yes. Right. Wait for Uruguay.
Truth is CONCACAF is three or four steps behind CONMEBOL.
But the only way 4you to go forward is to take the chance and play against better teamsn.
We lost against NBA teams for decades.
To grow Up.
It's your time to learn.
Take it easy.
nah we beat Bolivia 5-0 to in La Paz😂
Would you rather get spanked at copa and ggg get fired or do well in copa and keep ggg
Even Canada is showing more fight and heart
You guys are so dramatic you guys are very new to this game. Welcome to the big league FOOTBALL
Football tactics and strategies are constantly changing yet Berhalter has barely changed his tactics in almost 5 years. Every season a coach implements a system that works. Over the course of that season teams will implement their version of that same system typically to decent successes. Most coaches are outdated after a season or two. Every now and then a coach comes along where a system works for an extended amount of time (Pep, Klopp, Tuchel etc.) At some point all of them will have to adapt to the changes of the game. These are the best coaches in the world. We've needed a coach for over 5+ years thats up to date with tactics/strategies yet we've done nothing. Is GGG the only problem or is it the leadership at this point? Think about it.
Hopefully this 5-1 will teach you to spell COLOMBIA 🇨🇴
Greg is world class at making teams punch below its talent leve
Berhalter, you’re fired!
We haven't looked good unless you count the game vs. Mexico, which I don't think we played great. Since GGG returned, he can't put anything together. Yes, of course some has to be put on the players but what is this?
Marsh also just tied France so I guess I'd much rather have that pile of shit it's not nearly as bad
Last comment I promise, I didn't catch the whole game but from what I saw we played too high of a line and tried to play too much out of the back and got destroyed on the counter and also playing Gio deep on the build up it almost takes away the point of playing Gio if we do this we might as well go all defense in the midfield
You guys speak of Colombia like we surprised we beat 5-1 I had Colombia winning 3-1and look 😂. We haven’t lost since 2022 beaten teams like Spain, Germany, Brazil to say the least. We are the favorites for the Copa America you say any different your lying to yourself.
I love what Hercules Gomez said “ you gotta point fingers at people that put him [Berhalter] in charge. Who are the people the people that put him in charge; gave him a second chance.”
Colombias a good team wtf yall talking about? Acting like USA lost to a bottom barrel team. They're in 3rd place in CONMEBOL which is like being 1st place in CONCACAF, havent lost in the last 20+ games beating teams like Germany, Spain, France, Brazil, etc….
Actually lost in landover Maryland. But yes destroyed
Japan smacked the shit out of them before Qatar
Colombia dominated the first half, but the start of the second half of the US was ptetty good. Although i think it was more due to the fact that Colombia wasn't playing well for whatever reason, and Weah's goal woke our players up. After that, Colombia geared up and the US couldn't handle it. The third goal just ended the game and the other 2 were just salt on the wound
He said "even the Netherlands wasn't that bad" lol. Colombia is far superior to the Netherlands, just because a team comes from Europe you can't assume it's better to a South American team, you know nothing about football and that's why the US will suck at it for ever
Canada will be 0-3 with Marsh. You're mad at the USMNT so take shots at Canada. France 0 Canada 0. Clean sheet, Great goaltending, 48% possession, Away result. Oh and FYI No country in the world plays more games/tournaments at home than the USMNT.
Not enough credit is being given to Colombia. Thwy are unbeaten in 20+ games! Theyve beaten TOP teams in that span! We are NOT at that level. You should take so much scrutiny over losing to a TOP team! They are just different.
Two "facts" here are actually wrong.
First new study's have shown that women cheat more than men.
Second there are not necessarily more men that want to cheat but can't compared to the women because women even cheat only upwards.
If a her boyfriend/husband is a 6 she won't cheat on him with a men who's a 5.
In the same way as men exist that want to cheat but can't there exist women that want to cheat but can't attract someone who's worth cheating for.
The players arent as good as you think they are, but people just dont want to admit it 🤷
Weah was also directly responsible for a goal
Just listened to G’s post conference… if the team didn’t respect the game of soccer or the other team and need a wake up call… WTF has G being doing over the past 5 years. Wasn’t squeaking into the World Cup and then the knock out round enough cold water in the face to wake the team up to the reality of what they are doing? I mean, was the last World Cup cycle really something to hang your hat on?
The US continues doing what they know how to make wars in the world because they have no idea how to play soccer.
Berhalter is just terrible. This is what US is with Berhalter. They should have never brought him back! His tactics are terrible. Only way he should have been brought back again if we actually did better in WC than previous manager but he did not. Also US waited for him for what? We passed on so many other managers for Berhalter.
Yankees this is where u belongs. Meet the world series of real football not your soccer
"I respect this Colombia team a lot, they're very good. But this is not a world cup contender….." -Pete. Yeah so Colombia took one of the best teams in history down to the last couple of minutes in OT. Colombia also scored the most goals in the CA and James set a record for most assists in the tournament ever. On top of that, in the 6 months prior to the CA, Colombia beat Brazil, Germany, and Spain – who, won the Euro championship. Meanwhile the USMNT got fucking grouped. So, YES, the USMNT indeed should have gotten this beat down to Colombia. It's "delusional" to think this score says anything other than Colombia is an Elite, possible WC finalist team, and the US is far from that. "Pete" and the host obviously doesn't know shit about futbol. lol
